Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to mobile conveyors for conveying or elevating or stacking material into a pile or stockpile or to a next transport or conveying stage. The mobile conveyors comprise a base having a wheeled or tracked chassis which supports a first conveyor having at least one loading end and at least one discharge end. In one embodiment, the mobile conveyor further comprises a loading feeder having a discharge end above the loading end of the first conveyor, and which is moveable between a raised position wherein the loading feeder is wholly or substantially above a portion of the first conveyor, and a lowered position wherein a part of the loading feeder is at or near a ground surface. In another embodiment, the first conveyor is rotatable at or near a loading end.
Abstract:
A self-propelled material removal system having a primary mobile sizer receives, comminutes and transports material to a secondary mobile sizer using an automated control system to cooperatively move the primary mobile sizer and secondary mobile sizer to maintain a continuously operative interconnection there between while both moving and stationary.
Abstract:
The purpose of the invention, which concerns a process and device for shifting rotting materials stored in a composting tank and having to be thoroughly mixed from time to time, is to ensure the reduction and thorough mixing of the rotting material with reduced effort and to prevent the compacting of the material on deposition. In the process, this is attained by distributing the rotting material by deposition. The point of deposition of the material is moved over the deposition area, while the height of the deposition point is varied so that a maximum drop is not exceeded. In the device, there is a crab movable along the gantry. The crab bears a take-up and depositing unit containing a reversible conveyor belt which is adjustable in height. A grinding roller is fitted on the conveyor belt via a variable-length cross-bar. The crab has a doctor blade which can be swung over the belt during the depositing process.
Abstract:
A conveyor apparatus includes a tail portion connected to a head portion such that the head portion is moveable relative to the tail portion from a first position to a second position located lower than the first position. It should be appreciated that such movement of the head portion can permit the drop height of the conveyor apparatus to be adjusted. At least one frame portion is moveably positioned between the tail portion and the head portion. A stacker is also provided that includes the conveyor apparatus.
Abstract:
A method of protecting a hopper (30) from impact damage from bulk material in a bulk material handling facility (10) in which bulk material is dropped to the hopper (30) from a bulk materials feeder (48) and the bulk material is removed from a lower end of the hopper. The method comprises processing sensor signals from one or more sensors (50, 52, 54, 56) supported on the hopper (30) which receives the bulk material. The or each sensor signal is indicative of whether or not material in the hopper (30) substantially covers or overlies the respective sensor in the hopper. This is used to determine a level of bulk material in the hopper (30). Subsequently the bulk materials handling facility (10) is operated dependant on the determined level of bulk material in the hopper and to maintain a minimum level of the material or at least warn that the minimum level has been reached.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for stacking rolling material, such as wood chips, bark or grain into a pile (10) and reclaiming from the pile (10) to a conveyor (20) located below the storing point, said apparatus comprising a center column (30) that supports a stacker boom (40) and a reclaimer boom (50) that are hinged to be turnable independently of each other in relation to the vertical axis of the center boom (30). A characteristic feature of the apparatus is that at least at one point that is hinged in relation to the center column (30) the supporting is arranged resting on a support wheel (60, 60´, 60´´) arranged aroung the frame of the center column (30).
Abstract:
A method for mixing iron and steel raw material includes a process of stacking a raw material that forming a raw material pile by sequentially stacking a first raw material mixture block and a second raw material mixture block formed by discharging raw materials from a plurality of bins and mixing the raw materials and a process of mixing raw materials that separates and mixes a portion of the first raw material mixture block with a portion of the second raw material mixture block at a side of the raw material pile that is stacked by the process of stacking a raw material pile, in which a plurality of raw material piles are stacked in series by repeating the process of stacking a raw material pile such that a portion, where an angle of repose is created, of any one raw material pile covers a portion, where an angle of repose is created, of the next raw material pile.
Abstract:
Abstract:
