Abstract:

Abstract:
The present invention provides an activated aerobic composting media comprising of, coir pith, nutritive amendments and consortium of micro-organism, for rapid composting of organic waste into high-quality organic manure. The composting media of the present invention has excellent water retention property, optimum pH and air-water balance for enabling efficient biodegradation and eliminates the need of frequent turning or frequent watering of the organic material during composting. The present invention also provides a method of preparation of the media and compacting it for easy packaging, transportation, storage, and handling. The compacted composting media of the present invention provides a hassle free, cost effective and convenient composting process, which results in a odour-free, leachate-free composting of organic waste without producing any toxic gases.
Abstract:
The invention is a method for producing mineral fertilizers like ammonium sulfate, ammonium phosphateand calcium phosphatefertilizer by harvesting nutrients from liquid waste, such as human urine(diluted or undiluted). In this technique calcium hydroxide or a calcium related substance is used to increase the pH of the liquid waste and the high pH liquid waste is aerated to strip ammonia. Then the stripped ammonia is trapped into an acid where it forms a fertilizer like ammonium sulfate.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The present invention provides a catalytic fast pyrolysis process for the production of fuel blendstocks and chemicals. In addition, the invention provides compositions of renewable blendstocks, compositions of renewable fuel blends, and compositions of 100 percent renewable fuels compatible with gasoline specifications and regulations.
Abstract:
There is provided a method for producing hydrocarbon compounds. The method comprising: producing a syngas by introducing a fuel stream comprising a reformable fuel into a reforming system (steam reformer, autothermal reformer, cold plasma reformer and/or internal-reforming fuel cell), and wherein the syngas comprises H 2 , CO and CO 2 , and has a ratio of [H 2 ]/[CO] of about 1.4 to about 2.5; producing a decarbonated and dehydrated syngas from the syngas having a ratio of [CO 2 ]/[CO + CO 2 ] of no higher than 0.6; performing a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis on the decarbonated and dehydrated syngas in the presence of a cobalt- or iron-based Fischer- Tropsch catalyst, said Fischer-Tropsch catalyst comprising pellets of trilobe, cylindrical, hollow cylinder or spherical construction with diameter about 0.5 mm to about 3.0 mm and aspect ratio of 1 to 3.5, to produce a product stream comprising the hydrocarbon compounds; and recycling aqueous products and/or tail gas.
Abstract:
A low VOC, low vapor pressure, low flash point and nonfoaming fertilizer stabilizer composition comprises: (A) two or more glycol ethers of Formula 1 Each of R 1 and R 3 are independently hydrogen or phenyl with the proviso that R 1 and R 3 are not simultaneously hydrogen, n is an integer of 3-10, and R 2 is 90 to 100% hydrogen or 0 to 10% of one or more of methyl, ethyl or phenyl; and; and at least one fertilizer stabilizer, e.g., an N-alkyl thiophosphoric triamide.
Abstract:
A system of container and connectors for separation, collection, transport, sanitation, and conversion of faeces, urine or other biological waste into useful and culturable organisms and chemical substances such as methane, hydrogen, fertilizers, growing media and energy. The invention is characterized by the combination of connectors, containers and related equipment together provide a hygienic and flexible system for handling and processing of faeces, urine or other biological waste. The containers with connectors is substantially gas and liquid-tight, can control the supply of gas, and liquid materials. Is the size appropriate for the transport and collection of biological waste, can function both sanitizing and create nutrients through several well-known processes including pH control, temperature control, cultivation of bacteria culture and dehydration. The containers can also be linked to large-scale processes. The system also includes an closure and carrying device and device for digital labeling, information and communication.
