Abstract:
Abstract:
A thin, metal device, which acts as a lever (10) facilitating the opening of flip-top cans. The lever has a bend (18) near a key ring (34) and a hole (12). Next, said lever gradually descends to a narrow region leading to a second bend (20) that dips into a third bend a bend forming a scoop (22) and a head (30). The head has a tapered corner (28) and end so that said lever slips under and, through the second tab opening. The lifting action of said lever will open the tab. After opening the can, a tab-retracting arm (32) that is formed from a bend (20) lowers the tab. The narrow region of said lever includes a chamfered edge (26) on both sides of the longitudinal axis to facilitate opening of mail. For extra control, the pop tab opener can be adapted with a thumb-size ring attachment (36), which is specially adapted with a hinge screw post (38).
Abstract:
A bottle opening tool has a body (14) having on opposite sides a bottle opener (11) and a lever arm (17). Jaws (12, 13) form the bottle opener side and are located onto the cap of a bottle by a user placing his or her little and ring fingers into the holes (15, 16) in the body. The cap is levered off by applying force through the lever arm (17) with fingers that remain free. Between uses the tool is worn on the outside of the hand without impeding other actions of the hand. Branding is effective by being located on upper surfaces (18, 20) of the tool, visible to the recipient of the opened bottle.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a crown cork opener (2) consisting of a handle (4) associated with a bottle opening head (3) comprising a central cut with a support element (17) of a catching member (19) on its edge, the support element being located between the handle (4) and the catching member (19), a device designed to be fixed (1) on the first forefinger and middle finger bone being attached on the handle (4), said fixing device (1) enabling to hold the bottle opener in hand constantly without inconvenience and to open bottles single-handed.
Abstract:
A device for easily, safely and single-handedly opening a bottle sealed with a crown cap. The device consists of a main body (1) with two opposite ends and an opening (5) therebetween. One end forms a leverage handle (3) while the other defines a notch (4) for engaging the lower portion of the crown cap. The device further comprises a support (2) to be fitted over a finger of the user's hand. When the user exerts pressure on the handle (3), the notch (4) and a projection (6) lift the crown cap, thus opening the bottle.
Abstract:
A bottle cap opener comprising a ring (1) which is arranged to sit on one of the fingers of a user and which with a pivotal bearing (31) carries a pivoting lid, which covers a hook (4), which serves to grip under a free edge part of a bottle cap. The lid (3) in a second pivot end position is arranged to provide a support for the crown cap at a radial distance from the bottle cap edge part being gripped by the hook. The hook (4) is arranged in a pivot bearing on the ring around a shaft which is substantially parallel to the shaft (31) of the pivot bearing, and is pivotable in relation to the lid into a, from the inside of the lid, operative end position, and wherein the hook is arranged to be pivoted back towards the inside of the lid at the lowering of the lid over the hook towards the ring.
