Abstract:
Provided herein are compounds, compositions, and methods for the treatment of cancer, including leukemia. In one embodiment, compounds and compositions of nucleoside derivatives are disclosed, which can be administered either alone or in combination with other anti-cancer agents.
Abstract:
This disclosure relates to the use of uridine diphosphate (UDP) derivatives, salts and/or prodrugs thereof for the treatment of inflammatory conditions (e.g., psoriasis) and glaucoma, to prodrugs of UDP derivatives, compositions comprising therapeutically effective amounts of those prodrugs of the UDP derivatives and methods of using those prodrugs for treating various disorders including, e.g., neuronal disorders, including neurodegenerative disorders (e.g., Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease) and traumatic CNS injury, pain, Down Syndrome (DS), glaucoma, and inflammatory conditions, e.g., psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Abstract:
The instant invention relates to a novel compound representing a substituted phosphoramidic acid - a (2R,3R,5R)-3-hydroxy-(5-pyrimidin-1-yl)tetrahydrofuran-2-yl)methyl aryl phosphoramidate of formula 1 or a (S) (2R,3R,5R)-3-hydroxy-(5-pyrimidin-1-yl)tetrahydrofuran-2-yl)methyl aryl phosphoramidate of formula 2, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, a hydrate, a crystalline form or a stereoisomer thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an efficient process for the synthesis of (2R,3R,4S,5R)-2-(6-amino-9H-purin-9-yl)-5-((((1r,3S)-3-(2-(5-(tert-butyl)-1H- benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl)ethyl)cyclobutyl)(isopropyl)amino)methyl)tetrahydrofiiran-3,4-diol and hydrates thereof and methods for treating disorders in which DOTl -mediated protein methylation plays a part, such as cancer and neurological disorders, by administering these compounds and pharmaceutical compositions to subjects in need thereof. The present invention also provides novel crystalline forms of (2R,3R,4S,5R)-2-(6-amino-9H-purin-9-yl)- 5 -(((( 1 r,3 S)-3 -(2-(5 -(tert-butyl)- 1 H-benzo[d] imidazol-2- yl)ethyl)cyclobutyl)(isopropyl)amino)methyl)tetrahydrofuran-3,4-diol and hydrates thereof (Form A, Form B, and Form C), characterized by a unique X-ray diffraction pattern and Differential Scanning Calorimetry profile, as well as a unique crystalline structure.
Abstract:
The invention provides particular mono- and dinucleoside 5'-phosphorothioate analogues, more particularly mono- or di- adenosine or uridine 5'-di- or tri- phosphorothioate analogues in which at least one of the bridging oxygen atoms of the phosphorothioate is replaced by a group such as -CH 2 -, and at least one of the non- bridging atoms or negatively-charged atoms of the phosphorothioate is either a sulfur atom or a sulfur ion; and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. These compounds are useful for treatment of neurodegenerative diseases or disorders such as Alzheimer's disease.
Abstract:
The present invention provides nucleosides of formula (1) and oligonucleotides comprising at least on nucleoside of formula (2):Formula (1) and Formula (2). Another aspect of the invention relates to a method of inhibiting the expression of a gene in call, the method comprising (a) contacting an oligonucleotide of the invention with the cell; and (b) maintaining the cell from step (a) for a time sufficient to obtain degradation of the mRNA of the target gene.
Abstract:
The present invention provides modified nucleosides, analogs thereof and oligomeric compounds prepared therefrom. More particularly, the present invention provides modified nucleosides and analogs thereof that are useful for incorporation at the terminus of an oligomeric compound. Such oligomeric compounds can also be included in a double stranded composition. In some embodiments, the oligomeric compounds provided herein are expected to hybridize to a portion of a target RNA resulting in loss of normal function of the target RNA.
