본 발명은, 플랫폼에 위치 고정되어 배치되는 하우징부와, 상기 하우징부에 배치되는 구동 모터를 포함하는 구동 유니트와, 상기 구동 유니트에서 생성된 구동력을 전달하는 전달 유니트와, 상기 전달 유니트를 통하여 전달되는 상기 구동부의 구동력에 의하여 가동되어 상기 하우징부의 내부에서 가동되는 폴더블 스텝 이너 폴딩 지지부 및 적어도 상기 폴더블 스텝 이너 폴딩 지지부에 연결되어 상기 폴더블 스텝 이너 폴딩 지지부의 가동에 따라 플랫폼에 평행한 길이 방향을 회전축으로 회동하여 접철 인출 수용 가능한 폴더블 스텝 플레이트를 구비하는 폴더블 스텝 유니트를 포함하는 플랫폼 스텝 장치를 제공한다.

The invention pertains to a station platform composed in part of pre-cast concrete members and plain concrete blocks spaced out in the direction of the platform's longitudinal axis, and longitudinal girders which rest on the plain concrete blocks, are of a length approximately equal to the distance between two plain concrete blocks, and on which are supported deck slabs which are spaced to form joints and span the longitudinal girders with overlap on at least one side, characterised in that the cross section of the through-shaped longitudinal girders (3) shows an approximately horizontal base (31) with legs (32, 33) extending upwards and outwards therefrom, the base (31) resting with its ends on separate blocks (2) and the legs (32, 33) being adjusted to bear the deck slabs (4).
Abstract:
A roundabout for vehicular traffic is provided from a plurality of modular blocks arranged in a generally circular roundabout pattern and affixed to a roadway or ground surface at an intersection of vehicle roadways. Roundabouts can be formed in any desired diameter. In some embodiments, the modular blocks can have a trapezoidal plan shape laid out in concentric rings. The trapezoidal shaped blocks can be cut from a length of board having a constant width and thickness. The modular blocks can be provided as a kit of parts delivered to worksite at an intersection of vehicle roadways where a roundabout is desired. Splitter islands, sidewalks, and curbing of blocks having appropriate shapes can also be provided.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a safety gap filler (10) which is provided on an edge of a railway platform which is adjacent to tracks so as to minimize a gap between the platform and a train. The safety gap filler (10) of the present invention includes a fastening base body (11), which is attached to the edge of the platform (F) in a direction parallel to the tracks, and support bars (12), which protrude predetermined lengths from the surface of the fastening base body towards the tracks at positions spaced apart from each other at regular intervals. Each support bar (12) is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the fastening base body (11) in a direction in which the train travels, so that the support bars are elastically brought into sliding contact with the sidewall of the train.

A railway gate system (10) comprises a railway station (14) having an elevated platform area (16), and a recessed area (20) provided with a track (22). A gate (28) has a restraining rail (30) and a plurality of cylindrical posts (34) secured thereto. The edge of the platform area (16) is provided with a horizontal recess (40) and vertical apertures (42) for receiving the rail (30) and the posts (34), respectively. Motion imparting mechanisms (46) for the gate (28) include assemblies of pistons (48) and cylinders (52) with the pistons (48) extending through the apertures (42) and secured to the rail (30) for moving the gate (28) between positions. The assemblies of pistons (48) and cylinders (52) are connected to a hydraulic power center (64). The gate system (10) further includes a pair of electric eyes (74, 76) located along the track for detecting approaching and departing of a rairoad car.

Safety device (1) to prevent people and objects falling from a platform (2) down onto the track at, for example a station where the device (1) includes a slab-like protective barrier (4) that extends along the length of the platform (2) at its outer edge. This barrier (4) is formed as an upside down U-shaped profile where at least one of the shanks, the one facing the platform, has a length that is equal to or greater than the intended height of the protective barrier from floor of the platform. The manoeuvring arms (3) are supported to pivot at their respective lower ends at a level below the floor of the platform and at their upper ends are jointed to support the protective barrier (4). In addition, the manoeuvring arms (3) are arranged to pivot from an essentially vertical position to an essentially horizontal or angled position and thereby lower the barrier (4) so that travellers can board or leave the train without hinder when the train has stopped at the platform (2) and to raise the barrier (4) prior to the train beginning its journey again by the manoeuvring arms 3 swinging up to their upraised position.
