Embodiments of the invention are directed to a traffic control assembly, which includes a base selectively mountable adjacent a roadway, a flexible tubular member coupled to the base, a reinforced retaining member, and a retaining pin. In accordance with at least one embodiment, the reinforced retaining member, when positioned in a recess in the base, is configured to secure the flexible tubular member to the base.

본 발명은 도로에 설치하여, 도로를 주행하는 자동차 등이 차선 등을 용이하게 식별할 수 있도록 하는 도로용 표지병에 관한 것으로, 연질 합성수지로 형성되는 봉투 형상의 본체 내부에 반사판이 삽입되도록 하여 도로에 고정가능하도록 함은 물론 상기 본체의 전후 양측면 혹은 일측면에는 반사광 발산공을 관통형성함으로써, 종래의 도로용 표지병에 비하여 내구성이 더욱 향상됨은 물론 항상 뚜렷한 반사광을 제공할 수 있도록 하는 도로용 표지병에 관한 것이다.

A pavement marker includes a plastic base having an exposed upper surface, a reflector supported by the plastic base, and a metal rub rail coupled to the plastic base. The rub rail has an exposed rub surface positioned above the exposed upper surface of the plastic base. Methods of making and installing a pavement marker are also provided.

A retroreflector or simple reflector assembly mounted to a road, the assembly comprising a lens having a rear surface, a shell having an outer surface, the lens mounted on the outer surface of the shell, and a reflective or retroreflective sheeting disposed between the rear surface of the lens and the outer surface of the shell thereby allowing light entering the lens from vehicle headlights to reflect efficiently back to the driver of an automotive vehicle where light is emitted from the vehicle headlights. The outer surface of the shell includes a recess adapted to accept the lens, wherein the lens sits within the recess of the outer surface of the shell. The sheeting lines the recess and is disposed between the lens and the recess of the outer surface of the shell.

The present disclosure describes preformed pie-bonded thermoplastic sections comprising smaller articles where the articles and sections have planar top surfaces and planar bottom surfaces that are coplanar to each other There is also an adhesive backing layer on the coplanar bottom sin faces so that the adhesive backing layer bridges and bonds coplanar bottom surfaces to form unified pre-bonded thermoplastic signage thereby ρreventing dislodging or separation of the signage during handling, movement, and or transportation before or during application of the pre-bonded signage. The articles when properly sequenced, matched, and combined, together makeup the sections such that when the sections are also sequenced and matched the sections combine to form thermoplastic signage with a final pattern wherein the planar top surfaces include sequential features necessary to visibly aid in quick assembly of one or more unified thermoplastic signages.

The invention relates generally to passive infrared markers and especially to markers which are reflective in the thermal and/or near infrared wavebands. A thermal infrared marker device is provided taking the form of a truncated pyramid, preferably a hollow truncated pyramid, said device comprising n side facets, where n ≥ 3, and a top facet (13), wherein two or more side facets comprise a thermally reflective material (17). The device may take the form of a foldable blank comprising mutually engageable side facets (21 ), optional fold lines (14) and mutual attachment means (15). The invention has particular utility in military applications.

본 발명은 도로교통 안전시설물의 하나인 도로표지병에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 주행하는 차량의 주행범위를 제한 및 안내하기 위하여 발광체 또는 반사체가 구비된 도로표지병에 있어서 도로층에 매설되는 하부몸체를 저면이 개구되어 내부공간을 가지는 원기둥 형상으로 날개측벽을 가지도록 구성하여 상기 날개측벽의 내부공간에 도로층의 일부가 일체형이 되게 함으로써 외부 충격에도 도로표지병이 파손되지 않을 뿐만 아니라 외압에도 도로층 내부로 침하되는 것을 방지할 수 있도록 구성된 날개측벽이 구비된 도로표지병 및 이의 시공방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 주행하는 차량의 주행범위를 제한 및 안내하기 위한 발광체 또는 반사체가 구비된 상부몸체와 상기 상부몸체와 일체형의 하부몸체로 구성되고, 상기 하부몸체가 도로 노면(R)의 하부를 구성하는 도로층(R1)에 매설되어 지지되는 구조를 가지는 도로표지병에 있어서, 상기 하부몸체는 저면이 개구된 원기둥 형상으로 날개측벽을 가지도록 구성되어, 내측에 상기 도로층(R1)의 일부를 포함할 수 있도록 내부공간을 가진다. 그리고, 본 발명은 도로노면표시단계(S1)와, 코어 천공단계(S2), 접착제 수지 도포단계(S3)와, 표지병 삽입단계(S4)에 따라 설치된다.

The invention relates to a road stud that comprises a body formed of a reinforced synthetic plastics material. The body is substantially rectangular in plan view and defines a substantially planar operative bottom face between two parallel, spaced ends of the body. The body forms a ramp formation at each of its ends, each ramp formation leading from its end to a central apex region of the body that is defined centrally between its ends. At least one ramp formation defines a recess and a face within the recess that carries a reflective element in a configuration in which, in use of the road stud secured to a road surface, the reflective element can reflect light rays from an oncoming vehicle for rendering it visible to the driver of the vehicle.

A pavement marker includes a base (12) and at least one lens (17, 18) with retroreflective areas aligned to reflect headlights back toward a vehicle for producing a nighttime signal. The lens and/or the base are formed from resins that include a fluorescent material. At least a portion of the lens is free of the retroreflective areas to that the fluorescent material of the lens and/or the base produces a daytime signal emitted from or through the lens.

The invention concerns an embedded-type reflective road marker (10) comprising a generally convex shell (12) and a base (14) which is mated with a lower edge of the shell to form an internal chamber. The shell is of moulded plastics material and includes at least one moulded plastics reflector (36) which forms an integral part of the shell to reflect light cast onto the marker in use.
