Abstract:
The invention concerns a method and a device for repairing quay-protecting linings and similar structures. According to the invention a support mould (3) having an L-shaped cross-sectional configuration is attached to the external face of the quay-protecting lining, whereupon into said mould is inserted a lining sheeting having projecting gripping means (16) thereon, whereupon the casting compound is poured into the gap between the original quay-protecting lining (1) and the lining sheeting (4). After hardening of the casting compound the support mould is removed, the lining sheeting then forming a protective facing turned towards the water.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention provides a combination of a thin-walled first pipe section and a thin-walled second pipe section configured to be connected to each other to form a pipe using a conical screw thread connection, wherein the screw thread connection is formed by an inner screw thread arranged at an inner surface provided at a first end of the first pipe section, and an outer screw thread arranged at an outer surface provided at a second end of the second pipe section. The invention is characterized in that the inner screw thread and the outer screw thread are designed to have a negative play with respect to each other, such that screwing the inner screw thread and the outer screw thread in each other results in an increased wall thickness at the screw thread connection, for example at least 5 %, with respect to the wall thickness in a middle part of the first pipe section and the second pipe section.
