The method includes forming a set of below-ground vertical pillar members and excavating to a front of the pillar members to form an earth wall and earth floor of the below-ground structure. The method also includes attaching sheet material to a front of the pillar members to form formwork spaced in front of the earth wall for receiving settable material and filling the void between the formwork and earth wall with settable material, such as concrete.

The present invention relates to a concrete pile and to a method for producing same. The concrete pile of the present invention comprises: a concrete column; a PC steel wire embedded in the lengthwise direction of the concrete column to transmit prestressing force; and a reinforcement plate installed at the lower end of a PHC pile such that the reinforcement plate contacts the concrete pile and one end of the PC steel wire is fixed at the reinforcement plate, wherein the outer diameter of the reinforcement plate is larger than the outer diameter of the concrete column. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent deformations which can be easily formed on members during the stretching of the PC steel wire, the necessity of installing a lower shoe during the production of the PHC pile is eliminated, and the necessity of installing a support plate for stretching is eliminated. In addition, it is possible to directly install a reinforcement plate for increasing the end-bearing capacity of the PHC pile during the production of the PHC pile. As a result, construction procedures can be reduced, materials for manufacturing the pile can also be reduced, and the installation of heavy reinforcement plate can be easily performed.
