Abstract:
The present invention relates to a joining system for two building elements, comprising a first part (10) mounted on a first building element (1,2), a second part (20) mounted on a second building element (2,1) and a movable bridge element (110) which in a joined condition of the system is located partly inside the first part (10) and partly inside the second part (20). According to the invention the system comprises devices for horizontal fastening of the bridge element in at least one direction relative to the first and the second part, and devices for reducing the sound transmission through the system.
Abstract:
A support (30) for use in concrete walls, floors or slabs. The support (30) may be used to space reinforcing bars or mesh from formwork. The support (30) has a body (33) with an end wall and anchor (32) accessible through the end wall to enable a support rod or other fitting to be secured to the support (30).

Abstract:
A device for assembling prefabricated concrete parts has a cable loop anchored at one end to the prefabricated concrete part. The other loop-like end cooperates with a retaining means provided at the front face of the prefabricated concrete part to elastically bend the cable loop approximately at right angle during the fabrication of the prefabricated concrete part, and to release it for assembling. An elongated, U-shaped box (1) having a substantially uniform cross-section is provided as retaining means. The bottom (2) of the box has one or several passages (4) for the cable loop (5) and means arranged in the area of the passages (4) to retain the cable loop (5) perpendicularly to the longitudinal extension of the box (1).
Abstract:
There is provided a unitary, strike drop-in anchor where the individual parts are permanently held together to avoid misplacing any such individual part. The anchor comprises an anchor body with a central bore, the first end of the bore being threaded and having a constant internal cross-section for the length of the threaded portion. The exterior of the anchor body, and the central bore, have a decreasing bore towards the second end of the anchor body beyond the threaded portion. A threaded bolt with an internal central bore and a preferably polygonal drive head, and external threads extending from the drive head to the second end, has a strike tool extending through the central bore.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Attachment devices are described for attaching and locating overlapped anchor sheets while allowing for some relative movement as to expansion and contraction. Generally, the devices are a male/female connection on corresponding sheets and expansion openings or apertures surrounding either the male or female part to provide for areas of flexibility to provide for possible movement of either the male or female part.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for connecting building panels. Methods of connecting building panels using the device are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A spring bolt hanger comprising a barrel, a bolt positioned within the barrel, a retainer associated with the bolt, and a spring positioned in the barrel between the retainer and a first end of the barrel, said spring configured to bias the bolt away from the first end of the barrel. The spring bolt hanger has two distinct operative configurations. In the retracted configuration the spring bolt hanger has the bolt retracted into the barrel. In the extended configuration the bolt is extended from the barrel and is accessible outside of the concrete surface for use as an attachment point. The spring bolt hanger may be selectively moved between operative configurations. Also disclosed are methods of using a spring bolt hanger to attach an object to a concrete surface.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a joining system arrangement for building elements (1, 2), which joining system comprises a box element (10) adapted for embedment in a first building element (1), such that an open side (16) of the box element (10) will lie flush with a surface of the building element (1), and adapted such that a bridge element (20) can be inserted into the box element (10) which comprises four side faces (11, 12, 13, 14) arranged around the open side (16) and a back plate (15). According to the invention, the joining system further comprises at least one side face (11) of the box element (10), at least one load transmitting element (30), which is so configured that at least two surface portions (31) are formed, constituting a rounded face, which are turned away from the side face (11) of the box element and from each other.
