Abstract: The device comprises a single flexible cover having a shape of varying width, providing a shelter for an area and an automatic electronic retractable mechanism enabling to fold and unfold said cover. The width of the device is smaller than the maximum width of the cover at the unfolded position and the roof like structure device is supported only at one end. The retractable mechanism includes at least two supporting arms, which from a trapezoid form at the open position, wherein each arm is expanded at the open position and collapses at the closed position. The supporting arms may be constructed of at least two sets of interconnected bars, having a predefined two dimensional travel course stretching the cover forward and sidewards.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a shelter device installed on top of a structure for providing shelter in the vicinity of said structure.
