Abstract:
A cladding system for a building structure. The system includes a multilayered panel (1) having a first side (3) providing a front face (7) of the panel (1) and a second side (5) providing a rear face (9) of the panel (1). The front face (7) is part of a first section (17) of the panel (1) and the rear face (9) is part of a second section (19) of the panel (1). The first section (17) includes an insulating layer (13) and the second section (19) includes a backing layer (15). The system further includes at least one fastener (31) for fastening the panel (1) to a frame (23) of a building structure. The fastener (31) includes a base portion (33) securable to the frame (23), and a barbed portion (35) projecting from the base portion (33) for penetrating at least the rear face (9) and backing layer (15) of the second section (19) of the panel (1) to thereby secure the panel (1) to the frame (23). In one form, the barbed portion (35) includes a central planar member (37) with barbs (39) extending laterally to each side of the central planar member (37). The barbed portion (35) of the fastener (31) is sized such that the front face (7) of the panel (1) is not penetrated by the fastener (31) when the panel (1) is secured to the wall frame (23).
Abstract:
Abstract:
Implementations of the present invention relate to systems, methods, and apparatus for constructing a building. More specifically, the present disclosure provides an interlocking wall system that can allow a builder to accurately position, orient, and/or secure various structural wall modules. Additionally, this disclosure provides systems and methods for securing one or more cladding layers to the building's envelope. Furthermore, implementations of the present disclosure can allow for quick and modifiable installation of utility and communication lines within the building.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an arrangement for fastening visible elements and in particular an arrangement for mounting sidings. According to the present invention, rapid and precise installation is ensured, together with extended durability of the siding with invisible fastenings.
Abstract:
The invention relates on the one hand to a deformable slat system for a building construction, comprising one or more deformable slats (1), wherein at least one of the aforementioned slats (1) comprises two slat parts (Ia, Ib) which are joined together in such a way that they are hingeable about a hinge line (2), wherein this slat (1) is bendable and/or twistable in each first position wherein the slat parts (Ia, Ib) are hinged at a straight angle or a zero angle with respect to one another and is rigidified in each second position wherein the slat parts (Ia, Ib) are hinged at an angle differing from the straight angle or zero angle with respect to one another, and wherein the slat system comprises means (13a, 13b, 19a, 19b, 14, 15, 16) for bringing the aforementioned slat (1) selectively into a first or a second position, and for bringing a slat (1), which has been brought into a first position, into a bent and/or twisted position. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a slat (1) provided for a slat system of this type, and also to a building construction provided with a slat system of this type.
Abstract:
The system provides for the sashes (8) or shingles (6) to be fixed to a movable wall or continuous façade by means of brackets (1) joining with corresponding couplers (2, 3); each bracket (1) being fitted in the mullion (4) and locked in the desired position by means of a bolt (5) or else by means of a spacer (9); the bracket (1) being provided with outward facing recesses (1.3) and with coupling cogs (1.4); the mullion (4) featuring two arms (4.1) each of them being provided with a cog (4.3); each bracket (1) embracing two arms (4.1) and the link between the elements being obtained through the fitting of the cogs (1.4) in the cogs (4.3); the couplers (2, 3) being permanently fixed to the shingle (6), to the sash (8), or other covering element; each bracket (1) supporting at least one coupler (2, 3) as at least one hook (2.2, 3.2) it is provided with tucks in a recess (1.3) of the bracket (1) itself.
Abstract:
System for fixing an element (12, 14) to a stud (18). The element such as a panel, has a first face (13), and a second face (17). The system of the invention includes fixing means (16) which are adapted to connect the element to the stud via the second face (17) without penetration of the first face (13), thus reducing finishing costs. The fixing means may be integral with the stud or may be separate from the stud. Fixing means include spikes (16), magnets, hooks and gang-nails.
Abstract:
A securing device (10) for a blind undercut hole (11) in which is fitted a plug (12) with a longitudinal slot at the end towards the hole base having expansion tabs (15) corresponding at the inner end to the shape of the undercut (14) of the hole (11) and a coaxial drilling (16) to take a bolt (17) which supports the tabs (15) virtually over their entire length. To improve the securing device (10) in such a way that it provides a reliable and easily monitored fastening, especially when the blind hole is made in thin plates, it is constructed in such a way that the bolt (17) is of the knock-in type, unthreaded on its jacket (18), the outer end (19) of which is on roughly the same axis as the outer end (20) of the plug.
