Abstract:
A supporting structure for fences is disclosed consisting of a base consisting of a bottom plate from which a box body open on one side and partly on the top surface projects which houses and supports a post, characterised in that in said structure horizontal and rotational displacement means of said post are provided with respect to said base, as well as adjustment means of the horizontal and rotational sliding motion of said post with respect to said base.
Abstract:
Provided are examples of a hands-free level to quickly, accurately, and efficiency level and plumb a wide range of objects regardless of shape. The level includes a stationary component, an adjustable component, a level device attached to the stationary component/adjustable component, and a cord. The cord includes a J-shaped terminus that abuts the adjustable component. Advancing the cord urges the adjustable component towards the stationary component. Complementary locking teeth on the cord and stationary component lock the adjustable component in place and clamps the hands-free level to an object. This lets a user use two hands to hold and move the object while simultaneously checking the object for plumb and/or level.
Abstract:
The invention resides in a post (12), configured to be removably securable in an aperture and having a predetermined first cross-sectional area. The post includes an end portion (14) having an angled face (20) and a wedge (22), having a complementary angled face arranged against the angled face of the end portion. The wedge (22) is configured to be slidably movable at the end portion (14) to adjust a second cross-sectional area, defined by the wedge and the end portion. The angled face of the wedge is slidably movable relative to the angled face (20) of the end portion (14) to increase the second cross-sectional area relative to the first cross-sectional area to tightly secure the end portion (14) within an aperture. The post may further comprise a mechanism (32) connected to the wedge for slidably moving the angled face of the wedge relative to the angled face of the end portion to increase the second cross-sectional area relative to the first cross- sectional area to tightly secure the end portion within an aperture. The mechanism may be a drawbar having a threaded portion, which is engageable with the wedge whereby rotation of the drawbar causes the wedge to slidably move.
Abstract:
Described is an device designed to anchor a pole- or post-like object (4) in the ground, the device having a threaded section, which can be drilled into the ground and removed again in the same way, and a tubular section designed to hold the object (4), a device (8) designed to maintain the object (4) in the upright position in the tubular section being located in the tubular section (6). The device (8) which maintains the object in the upright position has a support element (14; 66) which is located in the tubular section (6) and which has an aperture enabling it to fit round the object (4). The support element can be moved with respect to the tubular section (6) to enable the direction of the longitudinal axis (LG) of the object (4) to be adjusted with respect to the direction of the longitudinal axis (LB) of the tubular section (6) and to remain locked in place in any position selected.
Abstract:
Assembly (20) for adjustable attachment of a pole, beam or similar (100) to a fundament (80) intended to be inserted into the ground, which assembly (20) includes: - a lower mainly elliptic plate (30) fixed at upper end of the fundament (80), which mainly elliptic plate (30) is provided with through holes (32) at ends thereof, - a mainly square, rectangular or circular adjustment plate (40) provided with longitudinal recesses (41) at two of its opposite sides, and that at least two of its corners are provided with through holes (42), - an upper mainly elliptic plate (50) provided with through holes (51) at ends thereof, where the two elliptic plates (30, 50) is attached to each other by means of fastening means and where the adjustment plate (40) is adjustable in the horizontal plane between the two elliptic plates (30, 50) by means of the recesses.
Abstract:
A system for handling various structural building components including a pick and stack-registry lug which is anchorable to the top of a building component for handling that component in either one, or both sequentially, of its two, pick and stack-registry functional modes, (b) a clamshell-style, releasably lockable clasp adapted to receive and close capturingly upon the lug under operational circumstances with the lug anchored to the top of a building component, and ready to function in its pick category of component-handling behavior, and (c) a guide socket includable in the base of a building component functional for camming, guided reception of a lug with the lug then functioning in its stack-registry mode of behavior to facilitate overhead stack registering of two building components in relation to the lowering of an overhead component onto the top of an underlying component whose top also has a lug anchored to it.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an adjustment system for connections between metal structures which consists of two plates. It is essentially characterised in that it comprises: a plate (1) provided with four radial slits (4) where one part of the structure to be connected can be joined; a second plate provided with four circular slits (5) where another part of the structure to be connected can be joined; joining screw pins (3) which pass through the radial slits in plate (1) and through the circular slits in plate (2) in order to join the two parts by means of the corresponding nuts (6) which tighten the said plates together, it being possible to adjust the position of the two plates (1 and 2) with respect to their movement on axes X, Y and Z.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for vertical arrangement of a pole or post-like object (4) on a fixing device (6) located in the ground, comprising a substantially cylindrical, longitudinally extended holding drift (10) which protrudes upwards from the free upper side of the fixing device (6) and which can be inserted into a receiving bore hole (12) on the lower front face (14) of the pole or post-like object (4). Also provided is a support plate(16) which is separate from the fixing device (6) and can be fixed onto the lower front face (14) of the pole or post-like object. At least one fixing attachment (18) protrudes upwards therefrom. In the middle of the support plate (16) there is an orifice (24) which is at least partially adapted to the cross section of the holding drift (10). The support plate (16) also has a clamping section (26) which borders on the central orifice (24) and which is oriented in the same direction as the at least one attachment (18). Preferably, said clamping element is configured as a cylindrical sleeve (28) with at least one slot arranged in its circumference in an axial direction. Said sleeve is radially expanded when mounted on the holding drift (10).
