It comprises at least one substantially elongated pin (250) associated with a wind turbine tower (120) and at least one corresponding substantially elongated pile (210) to be inserted into a surface (SB) and adapted for receiving at least one portion of the pin (250). A chamber (260) is defined between the pin (250) and the pile (210) for receiving grout. At least one of the pin (250) and the pile (210) is provided with connecting plates (300a, 300b) extending inside the grouting chamber (260) which are provided with holes (310a, 310b) through which the grout passes. The connecting plates (300a, 300b) may extend radially inside the grouting chamber (260), aligned or not to each other or with the centre (C) of the pin (250) or the pile (210).

A post sleeve installation assembly includes: an elastomeric sleeve core shaped to form a post sleeve when positioned in uncured concrete, a removable stiffener inside the core, an aperture extending lengthwise in the stiffener, a locking element positioned within the core, and an assembly plate coupled to the stiffener. The assembly plate clamps to a prefabricated sleeve element, with the core and stiffener positioned within a post cavity of the sleeve element. An installation stake is positioned in the aperture and prevented from sliding upwards by the locking element. A release point on the assembly plate permits an operator to release the locking element for removal of the stake. A method of installing the assembly, clamped to a prefabricated sleeve element, in a post hole with the stake resting on the bottom, then fills the hole with curable material, manipulating the stake to position the assembly.

Procedure for the mouting of a Christmas tree with a trunk (3) in a Christmas tree stand (1) by means of a connecting piece (4) which has an upper preferably plane surface (7), which matches with a cut surface (6) of the trunk (3). The connecting piece (4) has a convex, mainly spherical outer surface reaching from the circonference of the surface (7) above a cylinder shaped centre section with a first, external diameter, down to the bottom of the connecting piece (4). The connecting piece (4) is embodied with an internal, mainly cylinder shaped opening (8) extending from the bottom of the connecting piece (4) up to a short distance from the surface (7) and which has such a cross section that the outer walls of the connecting piece (4) become elastic. The Christmas tree stand (1) has a cylinder shaped drilled hole (2) with a different diameter, which is slightly smaller than the first diameter of the connecting piece (4). The surface (7) is brought to rest against the surface (6), and the connecting piece (4) is securely fastened to the trunk (3) by means of screws (5). Then the connecting piece (4) is forced down into the opening (2), after which the trunk (3) - when the stand (1) is placed on the floor - is turned into the vertical position. On account of the elastic force between the connecting piece (4) and the walls in the opening (2) the trunk (3) will remain fixed in this position. The trunk (3) can thus easily be mounted in the correct position in a simple and low-priced stand (1), also even if the surface (6) might have an oblique cut.

The present invention relates to a post support device (1) for a (post 10) adapted to be inserted substantially vertical in the ground. The post (10) has a top end (10A) and a bottom end (10B). The support device comprises a support member (2,3) adapted to engage the post below ground level at a point remote from the post bottom end, and at least two pairs of fins (2A,2B 3A,3B) each pair of which extend from and form a triangulated structure with the support member and/or post. In use, with the post with the support device inserted substantially vertical in the ground, the fins providing lateral resistance against the material in the ground to prevent the post from displacing the soil and tilting towards the horizontal.

Improvements in and relating to installing posts Disclosed is an apparatus for securing and aligning an attached post in a pile, the apparatus comprising: a top plate for attaching to an upper surface of the pile, the top plate having an aperture through which passes the post; a plurality of adjusters, each connected to a first end of a linkage rod, which is connected at its opposite end to an associated pile engaging member, such that operation of each adjuster causes the associated pile engaging member to engage with an interior wall of the pile.

A method of building a foundation, a foundation element (2),and a foundation for an antenna mast of a wireless communication system are provided. The foundation comprises at least three foundation elements (2). Each foundation element (2) comprises an elongated body (4). The elongated body (4) comprising a first end (6). At least one bar (16) extends from the elongated body (4) at the first end (6). An attachment arrangement (18) for the antenna mast is provided on the foundation element (2). The at least three foundation elements (2) are arranged to extend substantially symmetrically from a central portion (24) of the foundation (30). A central concrete portion is cast in the central portion (24) of the foundation (30) to join the at least one bar (16) of each of the three foundation elements (2).
