Abstract:
The window or door comprises a support frame (1), a holding frame (2) connected to the support frame (1) by connection members and a multiple glazing supported by the two frames. The weight of the glazing is supported by the support frame (1). The edge of the glazing bears, through a seal (6, 9), against a traverse beam of the holding frame (2). The holding frame (2) is fixed to the support frame (1) by connection members so that it may be arranged at right angles to the plane of the frame. The two seals (6, 9) form a vapor-tight closure on all the periphery of the glazing. A seal (12) is arranged between the two frames (1, 2), which spans the space of displacement (11) between the two frames (1, 2). It comprises a bellows (12a) of sufficient elasticity to allow the relative displacement of the two frames and which sealingly insolates the air volume (13) comprised between the two glazings (4, 8) from the outside atmosphere.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a frame for a window, door or façade element, comprising a frame (1) that is configured as a profile insert (1) with at least one metallic inner profile (3) and at least one metallic outer profile (5), these profiles being interconnected by at least two insulating strips (7, 9). At least one of said insulating strips (9) forms part of a plug-in projection (43) of the frame. The frame preferably interacts with a casement (13) which has at least one metallic inner profile (15) and at least one metallic outer profile (17), these profiles being interconnected by at least one insulating strip (19). The invention is characterised in that the fixing and base areas (47, 49) of the insulating strip (9) of the plug-in projection (43) of the casement (1) are offset from each other on the inner and outer profiles (3, 5) of the frame (1).
Abstract:
Sealing profile for a window (1) or similar consisting of a frame (3) that is composed of profiles (4) and a panel (5) affixed in a groove (9) of the frame (3), characterised in that the sealing profile (10) is made of an airtight material and is composed of a base part (11) for fastening the sealing profile (10) in the groove (9) and a foldable strip (12) that is provided with adhesive means (17) to be able to stick the foldable strip (12) against a mounted panel (5).
Abstract:
In order to insulate, in particular, window profiles, façade panels, roofing panels, pipes, land vehicle bodies and aircraft bodies, and the like with regard to heat conduction, an interruption is provided from which air can be evacuated or is free of air when installed. To this end, plastic profiles (5, 14) are provided from which air can be evacuated or contain an insert (6, 6') from which air can be evacuated. The vacuum comprises a high heat insulating value, therefore, low heat transition coefficients, and different materials are not joined to one another in a permanent and non-detachable manner thus enabling both an environmentally friendly production and necessary disposal. This also makes a cost-efficient production possible. In principle, there are numerous applications for the inventive profile configuration.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A window frame section (100) comprises a central portion (10) of a thermally-insulating material and inner and outer sections (20, 30) of a different material, such as steel, the central portion (10) being produced by extrusion or pultrusion and incorporating projections and channels for receiving glazing units, beads and hardware fixings. The inner and outer faces of portion (10) have angled ends (12, 14, 17, 19) for the attachment of the sections (20, 30). Portion (10) may be hollow and may comprise a plurality of hollow channels. Portions (20, 30) may be attached to central portion (10) by retaining pins.
