Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verdrängermaschine nach dem Spiralprinzip, insbesondere Scrollverdichter (10) oder Scrollexpander, mit einer Hochdruckkammer (40), einer Niederdruckkammer (30) und einer orbitierenden Verdrängerspirale (31), die in eine Gegenspirale (32) derart eingreift, dass zwischen der Verdrängerspirale (31) und der Gegenspirale (32) Kammern gebildet werden, um ein Arbeitsmedium aufzunehmen, wobei zwischen der Niederdruckkammer (30) und der Verdrängerspirale (31) eine Gegendruckkammer (50) ausgebildet ist. Erfindungsgemäß stellt eine mit der Gegendruckkammer (50) fluidverbundene Druckregeleinrichtung (60) mittels eines von einer Recheneinheit (80) vorgegebenen Sollwerts eine Druckdifferenz zwischen der Gegendruckkammer (50) und der Niederdruckkammer (30) ein.

Rotary compressor arrangement (100) for compressing a fluid comprising a body (40) centered at an axis (X) of a shaft (20) and a cylindrical piston (10) eccentrically arranged with respect to the body (40) such that a compression chamber (110) is created between them; the arrangement (100) further comprising a satellite element (50) arranged at an offset axis (Y) and orbiting around the axis (X), the satellite element (50) contacting the external wall of the cylindrical piston (10) under a certain pressure or force such that the orbiting of the satellite element (50) entrains in rotation around the axis (X) the cylindrical piston (10) over the body (40); wherein the shaft (20) and the body (40) are solidary and static within the compressor arrangement (100); and wherein the shaft (20) comprises at least one inlet port (130) through which a compressible fluid is introduced into the compression chamber (110) for being compressed and/or one outlet port (140) through which the compressed fluid exits the compressor arrangement (100). Scroll members for scroll compressors made from one or more near-net shaped powder metal processes, either wholly or partially fabricated together from sections. In certain variations, the involute scroll portion of the scroll member has a modified terminal end region. The terminal end region may include an as-sintered coupling feature comprising a tip component that forms a contact surface for contacting an opposing scroll member during compressor operation. The tip component can be a tip seal or a tip cap received by the as-sintered coupling feature. The tip cap may be sinter-bonded or otherwise coupled to the terminal end region. In other variations, a terminal end region may comprise a second material including a tribological material that forms a contact surface. Methods of making such scroll members for scroll compressors are also provided.
