A plastic, undetachable anchor (10) to affix a component (52) to a support (54), comprising a rectangular affixing aperture (56), the anchor comprising a resilient, flange-like head (12), a hollow shank (16) subtending an axis and connected at one end to the head (12) and receiving an affixation screw (20), further resilient detent arms (40,42) connected to the shank end away from the head (14), where the detent arms (40,42) running obliquely outward toward the head (14) are fitted at their free ends with a detent shoulder (44) engaging { in the assembled state - an edge of an affixation aperture (56) facing them in order to secure the anchor (10) against being pulled out of the affixation aperture (56).

A fastener assembly, which may be configured to be removably secured within an opening of a component, may include a pin (40) including a plurality of locking members, and a grommet (10) including a plurality of reciprocal retaining features configured to snapably retain the plurality of the locking members in a locked state in which the fastener assembly is configured to be inserted into the opening of the component. The plurality of locking members are removed from the reciprocal retaining features in a securing state in which the fastener assembly is secured within the opening formed through the component.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a fastener mounting clip for use in securing a fastener to sheet material having a bore hole formed therein. The fastener mounting clip is preferably formed of a single sheet of thin spring steel. The mounting clip includes a rectilinear planar surface having opposing retainer arms extending beneath its outer edge at obtuse angles. The retaining arms are resiliently flexible and compress and expand during insertion wherein a top end of the retaining arm abuts against the sheet material when the fastener mounting clip is fully seated within the bore hole. The planar surface includes support tabs for supporting the planar surface in the plane of the sheet material and also includes a recessed aperture for receiving and retaining a fastener therein.

The securing component which can be arc-welded to a structural component takes the form of a springy sleeve (1) and has a longitudinal slot (2). In a preferred embodiment, both frontal sides (3) are the same in order to simplify correct pre-positioning in the welding device, and have a thread-like internal drilling (4). The welding device for welding longitudinal securing devices has a feed channel and an axially movable holder for the securing devices. Instead of a slotted clamp, the axially movable holder (5) takes the form of a rigid tube in which the securing components formed as springy sleeves (1) are held. The arrangement for securing an assembly component to the securing component has an assembly component (21) which can be frictionally and positively fitted on the securing component. The assembly component (21) can have a shoulder (28) in its drilling (27) in order to engage behind retaining components (23) fitted on the outer wall of the securing component (20).
