Abstract:
Connection element (62) for releasably connecting two scaffolding parts, particularly a stay section and a frame section, wherein the connection element (62) is secured into the hollow section-configured frame section and comprises in a casing (63) at least one securing element (64) by means of which the connection element (62), and therefore also the frame section, may be releasably connected to the stay section, wherein, in the casing (63) of the connection element (62), there is rotatingly arranged an eccentric (75) enabling to guide longitudinally the securing element (64) in the casing (63), a portion (70) of the securing element (64) projecting from the front side of the casing (63) being introduced and locked into an undercut groove of the stay section, and wherein the head (76) of the eccentric (75) insertable into the casing (63) may be ratcheted into a hole of the stay section. The configuration of the connection element enables to achieve a releasable connection capable of carrying high loads between two scaffolding parts, said connection element having the dimensions of connection elements known per se and being readily assembled. Those characteristics are obtained by the fact that the part (64, 70) of the securing element (64) projecting outside of the casing (63) may rotate about its longitudinal axis in a limited angular zone, that the securing element (64) is movably connected to the eccentric (75) via a tensioning element (74) and that the free end of the projecting part (64) is terminated as a cross-bracket (70).
Abstract:
This invention relates to a connecting mechanism for structural members, used so as to connect together structural members, which are to be assembled into a structure, and establish communication between the passages defined by these structural members. A conduit communicating member (42) is inserted into a first passage (30) in one structural member (20), and the head portion of this member (42) is fitted in a groove (22) in another structural member (20a). The passage (30) in one structural member and that (30) in the other communicate with each other via a through bore provided in the conduit communicating member (42). A first locking member (44) is inserted into a recess (29a) in one structural member, and a second locking member (46) is held in the groove (22) in the other structural member. The first and second locking members (44, 46) are combined with each other via a locking member (48), whereby these two structural members are connected and fixed firmly.
Abstract:
For the production of connectors for releasably joining two sections (1, 4) at least one of which has a cut-away longitudinal groove (2) and the other a rectangular hollow profile (5), a retainer (8) being arranged in a housing (6) to be longitudinally movable by means of a rotatable eccentric (23) and the sections (1, 4) being joinable or releasable by means of the free ends of the retainer (8) projecting form the hollow profile (5) and engaging in the longitudinal groove (2) of the other section (1), it is proposed that the eccentric (23) have at least in its lower part a diameter increased as against the section (26) axially in front of it, the housing (6) have a drilling (22) and the retainer (8) a drilling (14) which is staggered in relation to the drilling (22) in the operative position through which the larger-diameter section (25) can be inserted, the drillings (14, 22) being coaxially orientable towards each other for the axial insertion of the eccentric (23), and that an additional rotation-limiting component (27) be arranged on the eccentric (23).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a connection element designed to connect two structural components, in particular a support girder and a frame girder, so that they can be detached again. The connection element is designed to be inserted in the hollow-section frame girder so that it remains fixed in place. It has at least one movable securing element which is disposed in a housing and which can be displaced in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the connection element by means of an eccentric pin which is rotatably mounted in an aperture in the housing and which passes through the securing element, thus bringing a coupling hook forming part of the securing element and projecting out of the end of the housing into engagement with a longitudinal groove undercut in the support girder. The eccentric pin is designed to be pushed into the housing against the force of a spring and locked in a cross-bore in the frame girder. In order to ensure that the securing element operates faultlessly in any position, the invention calls for the floor of the housing to have a recess which is disposed eccentrically with respect to the mounting aperture and with which a cam disc on the eccentric pin is brought into engagement at least when the securing element is in its extended position.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for attaching an expandable member (4) to a profiled section (1a) which has an edge-related, longitudinally extending channel (1f) which includes a constricted edge-related, opening provided part (1c) and an inner part (1f) defined by wall-parts, with the aid of a rotatably expandable member (4) having clamping surfaces (4f') which face towards the inner surfaces or wall-parts of the inner part, these clamping surfaces being intended to be brought into firmly clamping engagement with the wall-parts of the inner part in response to rotational movement, among other things. The expandable member (4) is comprised of at least one spring element provided with legs (4a', 4b') and located on one side of a lever arm (3b) which generates rotary movement. The device can be used to connect two mutually adjacent panels together e.g. separate display systems.
Abstract:

The female coupling part (2) comprises: - a tubular receiving part (4) in the wall of which an opening (6) is provided; - a ball (12) which is placed in the opening (6) and which is movable in radial direction of the receiving part (4); and - a locking sleeve (14) which is screwed onto and encloses the receiving part (4) and which by being screwed is movable in the longitudinal direction of the receiving part (4) between an opened position, in which the locking sleeve (14) allows movement of the ball (12) in the opening for the purpose of placing/removing the male coupling part (20) into/from the receiving part (4), and a closed position in which the locking sleeve (14) locks the male coupling part (20) in the female coupling part (2) with the ball (12), wherein the male coupling part (20) is an elongate pin which comprises in its outer wall a groove (38) for the ball (12).
Abstract:
A three-clamp type lockset comprises a lock shell (1), a three-clamp leaf spring (2) and an eccentric wheel (3). The leaf spring (2) is installed in the lock shell (1) and has a hole (12) which is adapted to the eccentric wheel (3). The leaf spring (2) moves back and forth by the rotational movement of the eccentric wheel (3) in the hole (12). A holding boss (7) for supporting the leaf spring (2) is set in the lock shell (1). The eccentric wheel (3) is a sector eccentric wheel, the shape of the hole (12) which is adapted to the eccentric wheel (3) is a combination of a rectangle and a semi-circle. The inner end face of the holding boss (7) is an inclined face, which is inclined upwardly at the orientation where the leaf spring (2) protrudes. The present three-clamp type lockset, when the eccentric wheel (3) rotates 180° clockwisely for locking profile bars, the side face of the sector eccentric wheel contacts the rectangle's linear side of the hole of the leaf spring closely. In this way, the tension arm for stopping is greater than the tension arm for stopping of the conventional same type lockset which comprises a circle eccentric wheel or an eccentric wheel having a stopping boss. The present lockset increases the side stopping moment effectively and reduces the possibility of the failure.
