An LED light device has a generally spherical body with a a plurality of projections radiating outwardly therefrom, each of said projections having a distal end and at least one of said projections has a magnet at its distal end. The body encloses a power source and carries at least one LED light aimed outwardly therefrom. The device has the appearance of a spiked military water mine.

A mount assembly for a wearable device including a flexible disc containing a rare-earth magnet for positioning on the outside of the user's clothing, a flexible disc containing a ferromagnetic material (either magnetized or non-magnetized) for positioning on the inside of the user's clothing in magnetic engagement with the first disc, and (attached to, or configured to be affixed to, a wearable device) a curved connector made of a non-magnetized ferromagnetic material for magnetic engagement with the first disc at a desired angle and rotation so as to provide user-selected directional control and ready mounting and demounting of the wearable device.

Système d'éclairage transportable et adaptable comportant au moins un ensemble autonome comprenant un bloc batterie (1) et un tube lumineux (2) connecté au bloc batterie par un câble électrique (21). Le bloc batterie (1) comporte d'une part des moyens de support (41, 42)) du tube lumineux et d'autre part un ensemble de moyens de maintien et de fixation comportant une poignée (41) pour un maintien à la main, des aimants (32) pour une fixation sur des surfaces métalliques, des moyens à crochets (33, 51, 52) pour une fixation sur un élément filaire ou allongé ou sur le bord d'une paroi, ces moyens de maintien et de fixation étant agencés sur le bloc batterie de manière fixe et de manière à permettre une utilisation directe de n'importe lequel de ces moyens sans adaptation. An LED work light has multichip LEDs and a diffusing dome. Each LED may have separate electrical terminals for each chip. The LED work light may have convex lenses forward of each LED. Convex lenses may be hemispherical. Convex lenses may have a nonhemispheric curved surface whose cross section has at least one circular arc and no non-circular arcs. The LED work light has a battery or receives power from an external power source. The LED work light may have a transparent plastic tube as a structural member. A replaceable plastic cover may be added to protect any structural tube or other major transparent part of the LED work light from abrasions. The plastic cover may be tubular. The plastic cover may comprise laminations of plastic that can be removed individually after being abraded. Any external power source may be a wall transformer type and may have current limiting means. The LEDs may be attached to the rear surface of an LED PCB that is fastened to a heatsink in a manner achieving thermal contact between the rear surfaces of the LEDs and the heatsink. A position sensing switch may be used.

The present invention relates to an illumination apparatus and improved light emitting diode lamp (LED) having a unique configuration comprising a heat sink, and the invention provides a compact, portable light source, preferably sized to be readily hand-held, for illuminating an object, several objects, or areas for human use and/or machine operation. The portable light source is capable of providing powerful light as well as effect light as discussed below and is especially suitable for professional use, i.e. for security, police and military use. Furthermore, the invention relates to an illumination apparatus capable of functioning as a tank for other battery-driven devices.
