摘要: A bending device for forming a product from a workpiece includes a shaft driven to rotate by a motor, an actuator including an extendable end configured to secure a portion of the workpiece, and a die coupled to the shaft and driven about an axis. The die includes a peripheral portion including a channel configured to receive the workpiece. The channel includes a first end and a second end offset from the first end in a direction parallel to the axis. Rotation of the die about the axis causes the workpiece to bend along the channel.

摘要: A cable distribution system is provided wherein a feeder cable with one or more feeder fibers is received by a distribution device or box. The feeder fibers are terminated to a fiber optic connector. Customers can directly connect to the connectors of the feeder cable through an adapter and a mating connector for a point-to-point connection. Alternatively, a splitter input can be connected to one or more of the connectors of the feeder cable, such as through a pigtail extending from the splitter, wherein the splitter splits the signal as desired into a plurality of outputs. The outputs of the splitters can be in the form of connectors or adapters. Customers can connect to the splitter outputs through a mating connector (and an adapter if needed).

摘要: A spool system (200) includes a spool (210) supporting a spool support. (250). The spool includes a spool hod)' (220) having a center axis of rotation ( R), a shaft (230), and an anti-rotation feature (232). The shaft includes a first end (230a) disposed on the spool body and extends from the spool body along the center axis of rotation to a second end (230b). The anti-rotation feature is disposed on the shaft and defines a non-circular shape. The spool support defines a slot (252) sized to slidably receive the shaft and a feature receiver (254) that has a complimentary shape of the anti-rotation feature. The spool moves along the slot between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the stowed position, the feature receiver receives the anti-rotation feature and prevents rotation of the spool. In the deployed position, the anti-rotation feature allows rotation of the spool.

摘要: A method of packing a plurality of lengths of cable includes routing a first length of cable around a first guide that extends from a first half of a packing system base. A second length of cable is routed around a second guide that extends from a second half of the packing system base. A third length of the cable is routed around the first guide such that the third length of cable is located on the first length. The second half of the packing system base is then folded onto the first half, such that the second length of cable is deposited on top of the third length of cable, around the first guide. The second half is then unfolded from the first half such that the first length of cable, the second length of cable, and the third length of cable form a first cable loop.
