Abstract:
Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and processes to adjust replication operations in a distributed environment. A set of replicated data is received from a first appliance as a result of a replication operation. The replication operation is initiated by the first appliance and the set of replicated data includes a first timestamp. A write operation is performed to store the set of replicated data and a second timestamp is recorded. Recovery point information is generated based on the first timestamp and the second timestamp. The recovery point information is configured to be utilized in adjusting replication parameters of a subsequent replication operation.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, are described for: allocating a plurality of nodes; implementing a first pool of workers on the plurality of nodes, each node including one or more of the workers from the first pool; providing a set of instructions to the first pool of workers for performing a first task configured to interact with the computer system; employing the first pool of workers to perform the first task; and monitoring at least one performance metric associated with the computer system while the workers from the first pool are performing the first task.
Abstract:
Examples disclosed herein relate, among other things, to a monitoring system that includes a monitoring device. The monitoring device may include a report monitor to obtain a plurality of event reports, and a report analyzer to group the plurality of event reports into a plurality of report groups and to generate an event summary for at least one of the plurality of groups.
Abstract:
The invention addresses method, apparatus, system and computer program product for controlling virtualized resources, comprising receiving a request to implement a network service at a network element, looking up key parameters of the network service, selecting at least one compute resource according to the network service, deploying at least one application as required to fulfill the network service, selecting at least one transport resource to interconnect the network element with the at least one application, instructing an access control conductor that a transport access manager has exclusive access to at least part of the network element's resources, and instructing the transport access manager to establish a transport path at the network element.
Abstract:
The mobile device industry has been growing for a number of years. The growth in the industry has led to a proliferation of many different types of mobile devices from various different vendors. With the growth, there is an increasing demand for quality applications. Many application developers rely on user feedback to determine if there are any issues (e.g., crash issues, slow response times, etc.) with their applications. Such user feedback may be valuable, but it may not provide the developers with real-time data relating to a user's interaction with an application. The user feedback may also not provide (e.g., at least in real-time and with minimum effort) if a particular issue is an isolated case or is occurring across a number of mobile devices. In addition, it is difficult to determine the business effects of issues with the applications.
Abstract:
A host server is configured to receive information related to metrics and configurations associated with computer resources of a computer infrastructure, derive and resolve the information into capacity, performance, reliability, and efficiency, as related to attributes associated with the computer resources, including compute attributes such as application, virtual machine (VM) attributes, storage attributes, and network attributes. The host server provides the metrics and attributes in a matrix configuration as a graphical user interface (GUI) on an output device, such as a display. The GUI is configured to provide a user with a single point of view into the computer infrastructure by converging application, compute, storage, and network attributes into capacity, performance, reliability, and efficiency concepts. With such a configuration, the GUI allows the end user to readily review the environments for potential issues in a time efficient manner, as well as solutions provided by the GUI.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatus and a system for monitoring a load time for a web page are provided. A request for a web page from a client device is received at a server. Web bugs are embedded within a code for the web page. The web bugs provide instructions to a client device for providing information to the server. The web page is transmitted to the requesting client device. A first call is received from the client device including information indicative of a start time for rendering the web page. The information indicative of the start time is logged in a memory. A second call is received from the client device including information indicative of an end time for rendering the web page. The information indicative of the end time in a memory is logged. The loading time of the requested web page is determined from the logged information.
Abstract:
The performance of computer system responses to user requests is measured and evaluated in the context of physical computing resource operation. Diagnostic information related to computer system performance is selectively provided based the measured performance and physical computing resource operation.
