Design tools and methods of use for designing, ordering, and providing manufacturing and installation instructions for waveguide system networks include a system design tool including a location selection module to determine a selected location, a satellite imagery component to provide an image based on the selected location, an overlay module to overlay a design on the image, and a customization module to customize the design. The system design tool includes one or more design modules to at least one of automatically output and build via user input one or more design options based on the image, and a design customization module to select the design from the one or more design options. The system design tool includes a positioning module to set a pair of connectivity points such that a cable length may be automatically calculated based on a calculated distance between the pair of connectivity points.

A system (100) and method is provided that facilitates collaborative development of virtual mechanical routing. A processor (102) of the system responsive to inputs provided through at least one input device (110) may generate a design for a routing run (120) comprised of a set of elements and cause a distributed routing path (122) corresponding to the routing run to be stored in a data store (112). The distributed routing path may be comprised of data that specifies two end elements (502, 508) and a plurality of routing path links (604, 606) that specify connections between a plurality of intermediate elements (504, 506) and between each end element and a respective one of the intermediate elements. The processor may also cause a display device (108) to output a 3D representation (800) of the routing run based at least in part on the distributed routing path stored in the data store, and data representative of the physical structures (116) of the end elements and the intermediate elements that are specified by the routing path links of the distributed routing path.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a parametric feature-based 3D CAD system that allows multiple users to simultaneously edit a parametric feature-based 3D CAD model consisting of 3D parts and assemblies of those parts (3D Model). Several CAD users, each using their own computer, phone, or tablet, can edit the same 3D Model at the same time. Editing may be separate and simultaneous – there is no need for users to worry about locking, checking out, or otherwise restricting each other's access to 3D Models. As a result, users see each other's changes occur in real-time, and may also identify what aspects other users are actively modifying through visible Collaboration Cues.

A method and structure for an integrated system for fabricating components for a customer's selected wood-based project, including at least one computer for providing an interface with a consumer to input inquiries and design choices directed to a project having at least one component to be machined in a tandem machine system in which a wood-based project component can be fabricated, regardless whether the component is based on dimensional stock or on sheet material stock. The customer interacts with either a database showing previously-designed projects for implementation using the tandem machine or a CAD (Computer Aided Design) module to develop a new project or a modification of a project in the database.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for automatically generating a Network on Chip (NoC) interconnect architecture with pipeline stages are described. The present disclosure includes example implementations directed to automatically determining the number and placement of pipeline stages for each channel in the NoC. Example implementations may also adjust the buffer at one or more routers based on the pipeline stages and configure throughput for virtual channels.

A system (100) for concurrent CAx workflow includes a collaborative server (110) that manages a model (310) of an engineering object, the model comprising at least design data and analysis data corresponding to the design data, a design client (210) for editing of the design data by a design user, an analysis client (220) for editing of the analysis data by an analysis user concurrent with editing of the design data by the design user; and wherein the collaborative server and the analysis client are collectively configured (i.e., one or both are configured) to enable the analysis user to edit the analysis data, view a plurality of geometric elements within the design data, and create a reference within the analysis data to a selected geometric element of the plurality of geometric elements within the design data.
