Abstract:
In one implementation, a method for generation of a soft-proof file is described. A ticket template and a job definition are associated with input contents. Print-ready data is caused to be generated based on the input content, the job definition, and the ticket template. A soft-proof file is caused to be generated based on the print-ready data, the ticket template, and the job definition.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of assigning a print job to a print job queue of a printer, the method comprising the steps of displaying an overview of print job queue representations on a user interface system, each print job queue representation suitable for showing image items representing print jobs in a print job queue dedicated to a printer of a plurality of printers, selecting a first image item of the overview of print job representation, the image item representing a first print job residing in a first print job queue of which a print job queue representation is displayed in the overview, the first print job queue dedicated to a first printer of the plurality, dragging the first image item to a second print job queue representation displayed in the overview, the second print job queue representation representing a second print job queue dedicated to a second printer of the plurality, dropping the first image item on the second print job queue representation displayed in the overview, removing the first print job from the first print job queue, adding the first print job to the second print job queue, and placing the first image item in the second print job queue representation, wherein the method comprises the step of during dragging of the first image item and before dropping of the first image item providing visual feedback of the impact of at least one of the steps according to the method. The invention also relates to a print fleet system configured to apply the method according to the invention.
Abstract:
Technologies are generally provided for enabling the viewing and editing the printed output of a document consistently in web-based application while a printed output of the document looks the same across different browsers as well as desktop client applications. A print view of a document handled by a server hosting the web-based application may be generated at the server, updated as edits are made to the document, and provided to a requesting browser or desktop client application such that the print view is consistent across multiple browsers and the client application.
Abstract:
Techniques are provided that allow the user to view on his or her mobile device the body of an email or other items from a message service as well as each of the attachments as thumbnails or individual images. As well, techniques allow the user to view particular attributes of each item, e.g. the number of pages and the page size of a particular attachment. Techniques are provided such that the user may view such thumbnails and/or attributes on a unique URL generated as a result of the generated email. Thus, by such techniques, the user is provided with a platform for mobile devices that allows intuitive selection of what should be or is desired to be printed.
Abstract:
A system for proofing a product over a network comprising a first computing device (110) that receives a product from a user, an operational module (191) that analyzes the product for print intent parameters, and a second computing device (185) that allows a user to finalize the product through a three-dimensional visualization, in which finalization by the user of the product causes a contract to be established between the user and a selected print shop provider (115).
Abstract:
Large format print jobs are previsualized in context. A print job source image is received. At least one 3D environment is received, including one or more designated insertion sites to receive the print job source image. One or more images or videos are produced, visualizing the 3D environment with the print job source image integrated into one or more of the designated insertion sites.
Abstract:
The graphical user interface (300) displays representations of the document to be produce by the production printer. The interface provides visual indicators (302) to indicate the presence of ordered media within the document corresponding to the ordered media (212). The GUI allows the operator to view the applied page features for each page of ordered media in the document to verify they are correct prior to producing the document on the production printer (316).
Abstract:
Product marking designing software is supplied from a manufacturer to a supplying customer (S1, S11), and the supplying customer then prepares a product marking manuscript by using the software (S2, S12). The manufacturer modifies the product marking manuscript by means of information exchanging over a communication network (5) (S3, S13), and, when a product marking (2)-printed sample is approved by the supplying customer (S5, S15), manufactures products on which the determined product markings (2) are printed (S6, S16) and supplies them to the supplying customer (S7, S17).
Abstract:
An online system (10) and method for ordering print jobs in which a customer can create and order print jobs on the basis of templates (220) and data records (484) associated with the customer. The templates (220) and data records (484) of the customers of the system are stored at a database. After selecting one of several templates (220) associated with the customer, the system can present for the customer the data records associated with the customer and the template selected by the customer. After the customer selects data records, successive proofs of the print jobs are displayed for a given template. The customer is provided with the options of editing and ordering one or more of the print jobs. The print jobs are then transferred to a commercial printer (14) for printing and later shipment to the customer.
