A rotary sensor assembly comprises an indicator member adapted to rotate and having first and second axial positions, input means adapted to be actuated by movement of the indicator member, and a processor adapted to receive input from the input means. The indicator member comprises a plurality of actuator structures, and the input means comprises one or more switches adapted to be actuated by an actuator structure. Zero or more switches is/are actuated when the indicator member is moved from the first to the second axial position, this corresponding to a first switch pattern, and zero or more switches is/are actuated when the indicator member is moved from the second to the second axial position, this corresponding to a second switch pattern. Based on input from one or more switches corresponding to the first and second switch patterns, the processor is adapted to determine rotational movement of the indicator member.

A power module to regulate delivery of power to one or more loads is disclosed. The module includes a logic circuit configured to generate one or more control signals indicative of the power level to be applied from an external power supply coupled to the power module to the one or more loads, an electromechanical device configured to electrically connect the external power supply to the one or more loads based on the one or more control signals from the logic circuit, a user-controlled circuit configured to provide a signal indicative of a power level to deliver to the one or more loads, the signal is based on input received from a user-controlled actuator configured to be placed in one of a plurality of positions corresponding to user-provided input, and a housing configured to receive the electromechanical device.

The invention relates to a device for switching an electric connection, especially a pivoted lever switch (1). Said pivoted lever switch comprises a pin (3) that pivots about a pin axis (2) and that is actuated from outside the device. The device further comprises slide means (5, 6, 7) that rest on a section of the pin (3) in a radial direction in relation to the pin (axis). Said slide means are displaced linearly in the direction of a slide axis (4), thereby producing the electric connection. The section of the pin (3) comprises an actuator element (10, 10', 10'') which displaces the slide means (5, 6, 7) when the pin (3) is turned. The inventive device is characterized in that the actuator element (10, 10', 10'') is circular in a cross-section which forms a right angle with the pin axis (2) at the surface facing the slide means (5, 6, 7). The slide means (5, 6, 7) rest on the circularly cross-sectioned surface of the actuator means (10, 10', 10'').

An ignition switch assembly is configured to be operatively connected to a gas valve. The ignition switch assembly may include a first ignition contact and a second ignition contact. The first and second ignition contacts may be sized and shaped the same. A hub may be configured to be rotated within the ignition switch assembly. A rotation of the hub in a first direction causes a portion of the first ignition contact to engage the second ignition contact. Further rotation of the hub in the first direction or rotation of the hub in a second direction that is opposite from the first direction causes the portion of the first ignition contact to disengage from the second ignition contact.

본 발명은 절전형 콘센트에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 의하면 콘센트에 구비된 회전스위치를 회전시키는 간단한 조작만으로 콘센트에 플러그가 꽂혀진 상태로 전원의 차단이 가능하게 되어, 사용되지 않는 전자 장치에 흐르는 전기를 절전할 수 있는 효과가 있다. 또한, 플러그를 콘센트로부터 분리하지 않은 상태로 전기/전자적 장치가 사용되지 않는 경우에 자동으로 전력을 차단함으로써, 콘센트에 꽂힌 플러그를 통하여 미세 전류에 의하여 전원이 낭비(대기 전력 소모상태)되는 것을 방지하는 효과가 있다. 또한 전기 안전사고를 방지하고 유해 전자파를 차단하는 효과를 가지며, 가전기기의 수명을 연장하는 효과가 있다. 또한, 회전스위치의 작동시 전원이 차단되는 작동 구조가 간단하여 고장없이 장기간 사용할 수 있으며, 제조 원가와 설비 투자 비용이 줄어드는 효과가 있다. 또한, 회전스위치의 작동시 작동음과 발광이 이루어지게 되어 있어서 사용자가 전원이 차단되는지 쉽게 감지할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

The invention concerns a switching apparatus advantageously providing a better distribution of forces for pull-in and tripping forces, requiring reduced manoeuvring force, providing high-current circulation sections for limited space requirement. Said switching apparatus (1) is characterised in that each switching module (10) comprises for each fixed contact (4, 4'), two symmetrical mobile contacts (6, 7) arranged on either side of the fixed contact, each mobile contact (6, 7) is associated with a spring (62, 72) and coupled to a slide (63, 73) mobile in translation. The control module (11) comprises a control shaft (14) passing through the switching modules (10) and bearing cams (16, 17) co-operating with each slide (63, 73). Said cams (16, 17) are designed to move simultaneously the two mobile contacts (6, 7) of each fixed contact (4, 4') between a pulled-in position and a tripped position. The invention is applicable to any industrial electrical installation.
