According to various aspects, exemplary embodiments are disclosed herein of vehicular antenna assemblies and radome assemblies for vehicular antenna assemblies. In exemplary embodiments, a radome includes a mount along an inner surface of the radome. A reflector is mounted to the mount of the radome. The mount and the reflector are configured such that the reflector is operable for reflecting, refocusing, and/or directing satellite signals generally towards a satellite antenna of the vehicular antenna assembly when the radome is positioned over the satellite antenna.

Gemäß einem Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird eine Fahrzeugantennenvorrichtung derart einem Fahrzeug bereitgestellt, dass sich eine horizontale Hauptstrahlrichtung der Antenne ergibt. Durch eine erste Reflexionsvorrichtung oberhalb des leitenden Dachs des Fahrzeuges mit einem Erreger zwischen diesen beiden Elementen wird eine Verdoppelung der Spiegelung verursacht, was zu einer Absenkung der Hauptstrahlrichtung von einer vertikalen in eine horizontale Richtung verursacht.

The invention relates to a device (1), for the transmission and/or receiving of electromagnetic waves (2) of a certain frequency, comprising at least one antenna (3) with a certain antenna gain for the electromagnetic waves and at least one reflector (5), arranged with a certain separation from the antenna for increasing the antenna gain. In order to reduce the size of the device the antenna and reflector are connected to each other by means of a ceramic (7). The device is integrated in a ceramic multi-layer body (8), by means of LTCC (Low Temperature Cofired Ceramic) technology.
