Abstract:
Methods of assembling motor windings comprising wrapping windings around a central longitudinal axis in a cylindrical shape having a plurality of annularly spaced positions such that the windings form "n" and/or "u" shapes around the positions. As the windings encircle the longitudinal axis, they are wrapped in an outward spiral or inward spiral such that each pass of the windings is stacked on a previous pass.
Abstract:
A winding construction for an electric machine comprises a winding formed by a plurality of turns of an electrical conductor wound around a winding axis, wherein the electrical conductor is in the form of a continuous conductive strip with at least one fold, folded to form the plurality of turns around the winding axis of the winding, with the turns of the conductive strip lying in planes perpendicular to the winding axis, the successive turns of the conductive strip forming a stack. The at least one fold of the conductive strip is in a region that projects out from the turns of the winding away from the winding axis into a coolant flow path.
Abstract:
An arrangement for mounting a coil winding on a stator tooth, the arrangement comprising a mounting element having a first mounting arm for receiving a first stator tooth and a second mounting arm for receiving a second stator tooth, wherein the first mounting arm is movable relative to the second mounting arm between a first position and a second position; means for mounting an electrical conductor on the first stator tooth and the second stator tooth when the first mounting arm is in the first position relative to the second mounting arm to form a coil winding on the first stator tooth and the second stator tooth; and means for placing the first mounting arm in the second position relative to the second mounting arm when the conductor has been mounted on the first stator tooth and the second stator tooth to allow the first stator tooth and the second stator tooth to be removed from the first mounting arm and the second mounting arm respectively.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for winding an excitation coil (32) for an electric machine (6), comprising the following steps: applying a thermo-conductive medium (30) to a winding support (28), and winding a coil (32) on the winding support (28) provided with the thermo-conductive medium (30).
