The present disclosure relates to a method performed in a radio device for transmitting a multi-carrier waveform comprising multi-carrier symbols. The method comprises precoding S2 the time domain waveform of the multi-carrier symbols to a plurality of transmitter antenna elements of the radio device. The precoding S2 comprises switching S2b from using S2a a first set of precoder weights to using S2c a second set of precoder weights, different from the first set of weights. The switching S2b is done by use of at least one intermediate set of precoder weights during an interlude between two of the symbols in time domain. The method also comprises transmitting S3 the precoded signal from the transmitter antenna elements.

In one example, an antenna system includes a radio base station for transmitting an RF signal via a transmission port, an RF splitting means for receiving the RF signal from the radio base station and for splitting the RF signal into two component signals, and at least two antennas separated by a distance greater than one wavelength and connected to the RF splitting means for transmitting the respective component signals such that an inferometric radiation gain pattern is created. The radio base station communicates with at least one mobile terminal via a dispersive multi-path radio channel where an angular spread of RF energy between the at least two antennas and the at least one mobile terminal causes nulls of the inferometric radiation pattern across a range of angles to be reduced.

The local macro node can be grouped with at least one low power node (LPN) within a local coordination set. The neighboring macro node can be grouped with at least one LPN within a neighboring coordination set. The neighboring macro node can be within a neighboring coordination set different from the local coordination set. The local macro node can reschedule using the resource map, a cell-edge resource component for LPNs in the local coordination set in a same frequency-domain index and a same time-domain index as a blanked resource component of the neighboring macro node.
