Abstract:
A system for disrupting Radio Frequency communication of a plurality of unmanned aircraft. The system comprises: a directional antenna; a transmitter; a drive system connected to the directional antenna and configured to move the directional antenna; and a control system. The control system causes the transmitter to generate a signal waveform configured to disrupt Radio Frequency communication of an unmanned aircraft for emission by the directional antenna, and causes the drive system to move the directional antenna such that each of the plurality of unmanned aircraft is irradiated intermittently by the emitted radiation. Each of the plurality of unmanned aircraft is irradiated for a first period of time and not irradiated for a second period of time, the second period of time is less than or equal to 5 seconds.
Abstract:
A method for waveform-enabled jammer excision (WEJE) may include performing a jammer measurement during a look-through window when no signal-of-interest (SOI) is present and obtaining a jammer signal. A SOI-plus-jammer measurement may be performed and a SOI-plus-Jammer signal may be obtained when both the jammer signal and the SOI are present. Optimal weights that maximize a SOI-to-jammer power ratio may be determined. SOI-plus-jammer signals from a number of antenna elements may be optimally weighted and combined to copy the SOI and null the jammer signal based on the determined optimal weights.
Abstract:
The invention refers to a method for a screening device and a screening device (1), for a cellular communication system comprising a user equipment, UE, (UE) in a cellular network The invention is characterized in the screening device (1 ) is arranged to generate a pulsed first signal (S1 ) being matched to screen a control channel (S, F, B) in a second signal (S2) generated in the cellular network.
Abstract:
A system is provided that has an ECM (electronic counter measures) system and a transponder monitor connected to or forming part of the ECM system. The system monitors for a transponder signal from a remote transponder. The system determines information, such as transponder location, based on the transponder signal and makes use of the information in the ECM system and/or the system extracts encoded information contained in the transponder signal, such as information about a transponder owner, such as status of consumables, medical status. The ECM system may have a reactive jammer that is used both for a reactive jamming function, and as the transponder monitor function.
Abstract:
Techniques for detecting wireless devices that are signaling in high proximity to a convoy or other operation and preventing messages from reaching the wireless devices. One class of the techniques uses surgical jamming methodologies that minimize power consumption and collateral interference, while being maximally inconspicuous; another class uses baiting beacons to prevent the messages from reaching the wireless devices. Still another class of techniques denies wireless devices access to a wireless network. An exemplary embodiment applies the techniques to wireless devices and beacons in a GSM network.
Abstract:
An ultra wideband (UWB) jamming system comprises a processor (120), a memory (125), a pulse generator (115), one or more UWB transmitters (110), and one or more UWB antennas (160). In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the RF signals of a threat transmission or an RF-triggered explosive device (RTED) are evaluated and a set of interference parameters defined for the RF signal of that device. The interference parameters are predetermined to interfere with the reception or transmission of the RF signal. The interference parameters are sent to a pulse generator (115) that drives one or more UWB transmitters (110) to generate a signal has a statistically high probability of jamming or introducing an error in the threatening transmission.
Abstract:

Apparatus for preventing the normal operation of a cellular mobile telephone comprising, frequency generating means (4) operable to generate an electrical signal at a predetermined frequency, sweep control means (1, 2, 3) operable to cause the frequency of the signal generated by the frequency generating means (4) to sweep at a predetermined rate across a predetermined bandwidth, amplifier means (6) for amplifying the electrical signal and antenna means (8) for receiving the output of the amplifier means (6) and for radiating the received signal.
Abstract:
The invention concerns an active radiofrequency device, with minimal spectral occupancy, for eliminating electromagnetic and sound disturbances caused by GSM-type mobile telephones or the like. The invention concerns a device for eliminating interference caused by mobile telephones in conformity with the GSM standard and the like, and for inhibiting reception and transmission of calls on said telephones, by scrambling the beacon voice transmitted by each operator. It consists of a frequency synthesiser (1), a modulator (2), amplifiers (3), and radiating devices (4). Said device is particularly designed for entertainment, conference and assembly halls.
Abstract:
A garage door/gate opening/closing mechanism is provided that utilizes electromechanical actuation to exert force on a button or buttons of a wall switch in order to actuate a garage door, where the switch actuates a garage door opener. The electromechanical actuator is actuated by means of an electrical signal produced by a radio frequency receiver or by means of a switch.
