Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fahrzeugtüranordnung (5) mit einer Fahrzeugtür zum Verschließen einer Türöffnung (3) in einer Karosserie (4) eines Fahrzeugs, insbesondere Kraftfahrzeugs, und mit einer Schwenkvorrichtung (1), die einen das Gewicht der Fahrzeugtür (2) tragenden Tragarm (6) und mindestens einen die Bewegung der Fahrzeugtür steuernden Führungsarm (7, 8) umfasst, wobei der Tragarm (6) und der Führungsarm (7, 8) die gleiche Länge aufweisen und derart an der Fahrzeugtür (2) und der Karosserie (4) schwenkbar gelagert angeordnet sind, dass sie ein Parallelogramm bilden. Dabei ist vorgesehen, dass der Tragarm (6) auf Höhe eines die Türöffnung (3) nach unten begrenzenden horizontalen Karosserieabschnitts (10) schwenkbar gelagert ist.

An elevator door mover device (40) includes a threaded ferromagnetic shaft (42). Magnetic movers (48) associated with doors (26) generate magnetic fields that cause the doors to move responsive to rotation of the shaft (42). In one example, a controller (46) controls a speed of a motor (44) that drives the shaft (42). The controller (46) in some examples also selectively controls the strength of the magnetic fields of the movers, which provides more customizable door performance.

A garage door/gate opening/closing mechanism is provided that utilizes electromechanical actuation to exert force on a button or buttons of a wall switch in order to actuate a garage door, where the switch actuates a garage door opener. The electromechanical actuator is actuated by means of an electrical signal produced by a radio frequency receiver or by means of a switch.

A passive ventilation control system and method. The system includes passive vents throughout a building. The vents may be arranged in multiple sets, with each set being substantially vertically aligned through multiple floors or the entire height of the building. Sensors are positioned inside and/or outside the building for sensing different environmental parameters or atmospheric conditions. The sensors send signals to a controller, which automatically adjusts airflow through the vents in response to the signals from the sensors.
