The device trains a malware detector using the simulation environment data. The device obtains deployment environment characteristics of a network to which the malware detector is to be deployed. The device configures the malware detector to ignore data in the simulation environment data that is associated with one or more environment characteristics that are not present in the deployment environment characteristics.

A computing device may be configured to receive an application from an application server on a network. Based on, for example, the network conditions between the computing device and the application server, the computing device may query a plurality of intermediary servers. Based on a decision that, for example, the network conditions between the computing device, application server, and a selected intermediary server are better than the network conditions between the computing device and the application server, the computing device may cause the application to be retrieved by a host application of the selected intermediary server. The host application may process and transmit the application to the computing device. The computing device may display the processed application and transmit user input corresponding to the processed application to the intermediary server.

摘要: According to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, techniques herein provide for auto discovery of network proxies. In particular, in one embodiment, a controller in a computer network receives, from both source devices and destination devices, corresponding Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) information and associated transaction identifiers (IDs) for packets sent by the source devices and for packets received at the destination devices. The controller may then correlate particular source TCP/IP information to particular destination TCP/IP information based on associated transaction IDs being the same, and can compare the correlated source TCP/IP information and destination TCP/IP information in order to determine whether a proxy device exists (e.g., and which particular type of proxy device exists) between the source device and the destination device.

摘要: Embodiments include a unified framework for minimizing congestion-dependent network cost by jointly optimizing forwarding and caching strategies that account for link congestion between neighboring nodes. As caching variables are integer-constrained, the resulting optimization problem is a non-deterministic polynomial time (NP)-hard problem. Embodiments relax the optimization problem, where caching variables are real-valued. Embodiments include optimality conditions for the relaxed problem. Embodiments include an adaptive and distributed joint forwarding and caching method, based on a conditional gradient method. Embodiments elegantly yield feasible routing variables and integer caching variables at each iteration, and can be implemented in a distributed manner with low complexity and overhead. Over a wide range of network topologies, simulation results show that embodiments have significantly better delay performance in the low to moderate request rate regions. Furthermore, embodiments complement each other in delivering superior delay performance across the range of request arrival rates, compared to existing methods.

摘要: Software deployment to network devices in cloud computing environments subject to data control policies is provided in a manner that ensures compliance with the data control policies. A deployment service is located in a remote cloud computing environment separate from the cloud computing environments to which software is being deployed. The deployment service does not have access to restricted data in the cloud computing environments, including access control data, such that the deployment service cannot directly interact with network devices. The deployment service issues deployment requests to hardware proxies in the cloud computing environments. In response to the requests, the hardware proxies obtain access control data to access the network devices and issue commands to install the software on the network devices.

The second state information is associated with a second session that has been established between the proxy and a server or an other electronic device. The IoT proxy also includes computing hardware configured to modify headers of packets associated with the IoT devices based on at least one of the first state information or the second state information. In some cases, the IoT proxy is implemented as a virtual network slice in a network function virtualization (NFV) architecture.

摘要: A first node in an information centric network stores popularity values for different content objects. The first node receives, from a client or a second node in the information centric network, a first message comprising the number of interests for a content object, and updates a first popularity value for the content object. The first node determines a first condition value that is a function of the first popularity value, and a second condition value that is a function of a previous popularity value for the object. The first node calculates, when the relationship between the first condition value and the second condition value fulfills a predetermined condition, the difference between the first and second popularity values and also sets the second popularity value equal to the first popularity value. The first node sends a second message comprising the difference value to a third node in the information centric network.
