Abstract:
In an apparatus, object information and information on a transmission destination representing the transmission destination of image data are registered in correspondence with each other. An object in the image data is identified. The image data is transmitted to a transmission destination represented by information on a transmission destination corresponding to identified object information. The transmission status of the image data by a transmission unit is displayed on a display unit together with the image data.
Abstract:
In one exemplary embodiment, a method includes: capturing image data for physical content, where the physical content includes a recipient image indicative of at least one desired recipient; performing image recognition on the captured image data to identify the recipient image; matching the recipient image with corresponding contact information to obtain address information for the at least one desired recipient; and addressing an electronic communication to the at least one desired recipient using the address information, where the electronic communication includes the captured image data for the physical content.
Abstract:
Examples disclosed herein relate to a likelihood of success of a remote document service. For example, a processor may determine to transmit information about a remote document service to a device based on a likelihood of success associated with the ability of the device to perform the remote document service. The likelihood of success may be based on the performance history of the device and a factor associated with performance history and likelihood of success
Abstract:
Captured images are analyzed to identify portrayed individuals and/or scene elements therein. Upon user confirmation of one or more identified individuals and/or scene elements entity information is accessed to determine whether there are any available communication addresses, e.g., email addresses, SMS-based addresses, websites, etc., that correspond with or are otherwise linked to an identified individual or scene element in the current captured image. A current captured image can then be automatically transmitted, with no need for any other user effort, to those addresses located for an identified individual or scene element.

Abstract:
A mobile station device (22) includes a camera (24) and a calling module (40) that uses information regarding images captured by the camera (24) for automatically placing a call from the mobile station device (22). An example method includes determining a number to call based on an image captured by the camera (24) and automatically calling the number.
