    Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a self-actuating fluid dispenser change-over device (10) for selectively dispensing a fluid from multiple fluid sources (14, 16). The change-over device (10) is provided with a housing (12) having first (18) and second (20) cylinders. The change-over device (10) is further provided with first (22) and second (24) pistons which are interconnected and movable between open and closed positions within respective ones of the first (18) and second (20) cylinders. The change-over device (10) is further provided with a slide valve (26) which is movable between first and second positions for alternately dispensing fluid from a respective one of the first (18) and second (20) cylinders. The change over device is further provided with a linkage (28) which connects the pistons to the slide valve (26) for moving the slide valve (26) in response to movement of the pistons.

    Abstract: Cassette based systems and methods of hydrogen storage, distribution, and recovery are disclosed. A cassette or other container may contain a hydrogen storage or storing material. Information may be stored in the material and subsequently read or accessed. A probe may be used to interrogate the material. The hydrogen content or other characteristics of the material may be determined based on the interrogation. A hydrogen dispensing unit may contain a depleted cassette acceptor to accept depleted cassettes and a charged cassette dispenser to dispense charged cassettes. The dispensing unit may be implemented in a hydrogen retail store or as a standalone unit. The retail store or the unit may connect to a hydrogen network and implement various business methods, as disclosed herein.

    Abstract: The object of the invention is to for a fire fighting installation with a high operating pressure provide a new valve which is reliable without access to electric current and is of a simple structure. The valve has a spindle (7) which is movable between a stand-by position and an activated position. A secondary liquid source (16) with a low pressure acts on the spindle in the direction towards the stand-by position and a spring (13) acts on the spindle in the opposite direction.     Abstract: A valve of the kind for controlling the flow of fluid from at least two alternative supplies in such a manner that reduction or cessation of one supply automatically causes the valve to switch to another of the alternative supplies comprises a cylinder having a piston slidable therein in a region between a first fluid inlet and a second fluid inlet. The piston has working surfaces of differential area such that equal pressure on both sides of the piston biases the piston to one end of the cylinder. The valve has a fluid outlet with a first fluid flow path from the first fluid inlet to the fluid outlet, and a second fluid flow path from the second fluid inlet to the fluid outlet and including an axial outlet bore.
