    Abstract: A combination motorized and propelled apparatus and moment imparting device is provided to improve the stability of the apparatus in motion with regard to pitch, roll and yaw. The moment imparting device uses one or more rotational members rotating around one or more axes to create a net rotational moment force around a desired axis of rotation. The moment imparting device is in communication with the motorized apparatus to translate that moment force to the motorized apparatus to improve stability or induce a desired rotation.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method are described for utilizing internally generated angular momentum for supplementing the propulsion of a mobile spherical vehicle capable of motion by rolling over terrain, thereby enabling such vehicles to climb steeper inclines and overcome larger obstacles.     Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for reorienting control moment gyros (CMGs) (10) to compensate for CMG (10) failure or change in spacecraft (S/C) mass properties or mission.
