Abstract:
1) Method for sowing meristematic tissues. 2) It is characterised in that a sowing machine is supplied with bare meristematic tissues. 3) The method is applicable in agriculture.
Abstract:
The crop testing and evaluation system includes a plurality of measuring and testing devices (24, 32) that measure the weight, moisture content, and test weight of a crop. Other measuring devices (84) that test the crop for characteristics such as protein content, sugar content, oil content and color may also be included. Mounting accessories (26) are included in the system for attaching the measuring devices to the crop gathering compartment (14) of a harvesting vehicle (10). As the crop is harvested and fed to the compartment, periodic readings of the measuring devices are taken by a microprocessor (50) and supplied to a computer (52) for analysis and evaluation. Preferably, the microprocessor and computer are positioned in the cab (22) of the harvesting vehicle within reach of the harvest operator. The present invention also provides an efficient method of evaluating research products, such as plant hybrids and varieties.
Abstract:
In order that in one tempo of work one will be able to sow out grass seed or other seed, to put it down into the soil, to cultivate the soil and after the sowing to leave a smooth surface of soil without up-sticking stones or similar a sowing machine has been produced, which according to the invention consists of the following combination of parts which are known before in themselves: a fore cart (1), the frame (7) of which carries a sow box (9) having feeding openings for the seed, said fore cart is carried by a lattice roller (4), said roller is driven by a motor (8) and is rolling on the ground for putting down the seed, a clod-crusher (14), which is connected to the frame and is skidding on the ground for smoothing the soil, and a back cart (7), which is carried by a further lattice roller (16) and has a chair (17) for the driver of the machine, said back cart being connected to the frame of the fore cart vertically stiff but horizontally swingable.
Abstract:
The seeds (6) or plants are laid out simultaneously in double or multiple rows (2) in a three-way combination in which several sowing and planting aggregates (7) intended for various kinds of seeds and plants are brought together in such a way in a unit driven over the field, that from each of the various seed and/or plant rows (2), seed or plant strips are simultaneously formed parallel to one another.
Abstract:
In order to make it possible to cultivate a field using mechanized or automated means with due regard for the environment, the invention proposes that the seed is spread on the untilled ground and covered with a layer of compostable material. The layer may, for instance, consist of mats (7) made of straw, litter, mulch or mixtures of these.
Abstract:
The machine comprises a frame (1) on which is mounted a bunker (2) for a fluid material, located inside a hermetic chamber (4) provided with an inlet connected to a source (5) of a working medium, and a device for displacing the fluid material, which consists of a drum (6) with a flexible sleeve (7) wound on it connected to a drive. The internal cavity (B) of the sleeve (7) is connected to the bunker (2). The loose end of the sleeve (7) passes through an outlet of the chamber (4), is turned inside out and hermetically fixed along the perimeter of the chamber (4) so as to form an annular cavity (A).
Abstract:
Incorporation of a seed counter (24), whose counting signals are compared with the signals from an area meter, in one or more seed tubes (23) of a sowing machine enables ready and rapid adjustement of the machine for sowing of a specific, desired number of seeds per m . To improve the accuracy of counting, the seeds are accelerated and spread before they reach the seed counter, preferably by means of a weak air flow applied by a nozzle (25).
Abstract:
A rotary dibber drill (10) includes venturi devices (20 and 34) to transfer seed and fertiliser granules from a presentation assembly to a pneumatically activated dibber wheel (49). A rotary face valve (86) controls the radial movement of the dibber elements in wheel (49).
Abstract:
An apparatus for sowing seed comprises a hopper (101) having three separate compartments (102, 103 and 104), the hopper (101) has an inlet at the top which is covered by a lid (106) and has an outlet (105) at the bottom. The compartment (102) is much larger than the compartment (103) and is approximately twice as deep. The compartment (103) is located in the top half of the hopper (101) to a side thereof and is separated from the compartment (102) by a wall (107) having a movable top section (108). The compartment (102) comprises side wall (101a), wall (107) and partition (109) which extends from side wall (101a) below and around an agitator (110) and joins with wall (107). The partition (109) has a horizontal section at the bottom of the compartment (102) wherein a rectangular slot (111) is provided. Directly below this is a fluted roll (112) and a base plate (113) which help form a seed feeding arrangement. Compartment (103) has a similar seed feeding arrangement formed from fluted roll (116) and base plate (117) which are located directly below the rectangular slot (115) and partition (114). Seed from the compartment (103) passes through its seed feeding arrangement through channel (118) and passes with seed from compartment (102) through outlet (105).
Abstract:
In a seed drill having tractor wheel track eradicators (13), coulters (1) that sow rows of seeds along the line of the tractor wheel tracks (T), and tramlining means (4,5) that serves to stop the supply of seed to said coulters (1) to form tramlines on selected bouts; said track eradicators (13) are lifted out of work when sowing a bout with tramlines so that the tractor wheel tracks (T) remain and form a mark along the unsown rows. Preferably, said coulters (1) are also lifted out of work with the track eradicators (13) so as to avoid disturbing the tractor wheel tracks unduly.
