Abstract:
A coupling mechanism for coupling a crop conveyor unit (15), for creating a swath behind an agricultural machine, to a mounting structure (10) attached to an agricultural operating unit, e.g. a mower (21). The coupling mechanism consists of gendered elements (65/66), at least one of which is tapered, such that the connection is self- guiding into the engaged configuration. A quick coupling method is described where the conveyor unit (15) is rolled on wheels to locate the male element (11) underneath the female element (12). The mounting structure is raised such that the male element engages the female element and optional locking pins secure the engaged parts together. Quick de-coupling is performed by reversal of the coupling method.

A lawn mower is provided including a housing having cutting means (12) associated with a base thereof for cutting grass and grass collection means (22) provided on or associated with said housing for collecting grass cuttings during use of said mower. Fan means (10) are provided in or associated with said housing for creating an air flow in said mower along a first air flow path to transport the grass cuttings from the cutting means directly to the grass collection means via first channel means (24). At least a further air flow path (46) is defined in said mower to allow air to flow from said fan means to atmosphere and/or directly to or adjacent to said grass collection means.

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour le remplissage d'un sac (22) d'un équipement par des éléments véhiculés par un flux d'air à l'intérieur d'un conduit (25), ce conduit (25) amenant le flux air/éléments d'une chambre (5) de coupe ou d'aspiration vers le récipient (23). Ce dispositif comporte des moyens de battage (28) faisant vibrer une ou plusieurs parties du conduit (25) suivant sa direction longitudinale, ce qui procure une bonne efficacité de battage. Un autre aspect de l'invention concerne un second dispositif représenté par la partie supérieure d'un support (14) de sac comportant une pluralité de panneaux déflecteurs (40). Ces panneaux (40) permettent de détourner vers le sol les projectiles, tels que les cailloux, susceptibles de blesser l'utilisateur. L'invention concerne également une tondeuse (1) munie de l'un ou l'autre ou des deux dispositifs (28, 14).

An auger control system including an auger (100) configured to convey material from a receiving end of the auger to a discharge end of the auger, a motor (11) configured to produce a rotational force, and an electronic clutch (70) disposed between the auger (100) and the motor (11). The electronic clutch (70) is configured to be selectively engaged to provide the rotational force from the motor (11) to the auger (100). The auger control system may also include a clutch control circuit including processing circuitry (50) configured to engage and disengage the electronic clutch (70).

Abstract:
A lawncare machine (100) has a powered rotary raking or scarifying reel (5) together with a powered vacuum collector (8) whereby material thrown up by the reel is immediately drawn into the collection chamber (8). During removal of the vegetation material, it is drawn into the chamber (8) due to a suction created by a fan (2). The material is normally held in the box by means of a perforated screen (10) situated between the box and fan entry. The chamber (8) may be emptied by moving the screen (10) so that the material is discharged through the fan (2). Alternatively the chamber (8) may be emptied by means of flap valves (19, 21, 23) which cause a reversal of the airflow through the chamber so that the collected material never passes through the fan.
