Abstract: A decorative object and a method of hanging the same on a support surface without tools. The object includes a body having a front wall and a rear wall and a hanging member for mounting the object on the support surface is provided, where the hanging member is integral with the rear wall. The hanging member comprises a body having a shaft and a tip. The rear wall of the object is molded and the shaft and tip are molded as part of the rear wall. In other instances, the hanging member includes a base and the base is positioned to be enveloped by molding material when the rear wall is fabricated. In other instances, the base is snap- fittingly installed into a recessed region of the rear wall and is able to be pivoted between a use position and a non-use position.

Abstract: The invention relates to the systems for hanging paintings, frames or any such small object. The technical problem addressed is the stability of such fixing systems in order to maintain a fixed level of the object and at the same time drilling only one hole into the wall thereby avoiding the need to make various holes in order to hang and fix one painting or frame to the wall. To this effect, the invention comprises a pair of metal fittings which are shaped as a rectangular folded plate and which are couplable to each other by means of a longitudinal groove in order to reduce the swinging movements between the parts. Also, in order to avoid the oscillation of the anchoring point, the latter has protuberances which penetrate into the wall when tightening the screw and thereby block the position of the metal fitting in a preferably horizontal position. The metal fitting can be easily fabricated by punching or pressing of metal materials or injected plastic material. It is mainly intended to hang frames such as paintings or the like at any location and provides for their easy interchange without having to move them during cleaning.
