Abstract:
An absorbent article which can have longitudinal direction folded side regions. The longitudinal direction folded side regions of the absorbent article can provide the absorbent article with a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the lateral direction width of each of the front waist edge and the back waist edge can be the same. In the second configuration, the lateral direction width of the front waist edge can be smaller than the lateral direction width of the back waist edge.

The first fastening means (12; 19; 26) are intended to be fastened to the second fastening means (22; 21; 28). The first marker (13; 81; 27) has the same matching characteristics as the second marker (23; 20; 29). The first fastening means (12; 19; 26) and the second fastening means (22; 21; 28) are belt fastening means (19, 21) and/or rear fastening means (12, 22) and/or front fastening means (26, 28).
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for facilitating transdermal delivery of oligosaccharides comprising an apparatus that generates micro-channels in the skin of a subject and a skin patch comprising a pharmaceutical composition comprising as an active agent an oligosaccharide. Particularly, the composition comprises an oligosaccharide of 5-20 monosaccharide units, such as a pentasaccharide, which exerts anticoagulant activity. The system is capable of delivering the oligosaccharides into the blood circulation for treating thromboembolic diseases.
Abstract:
An absorbent article is disclosed exhibiting improved body fit. The absorbent article has a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion. The back portion has a first end and a second end. The back portion is divided into a first section and a second section. The first section is located adjacent to the first end and the second section located adjacent to the second end. The first and second sections are extendable in at least one direction. The second section has a first side edge, a second side edge and first and second leg elastics each positioned adjacent to one of the first and second side edges. A crotch portion connects the front portion to the back portion. The crotch portion has a first side edge, a second side edge and first and second crotch elastics each positioned adjacent to one of the first and second side edges. The first and second crotch elastics cooperate with the first and second leg elastics to provide a close fit against a wearer's body. The absorbent article also includes an absorbent secured to at least one of the front, back or crotch portions. The absorbent article further includes a fastening mechanism for releasably attaching the back portion to the front portion whereby a pant-like article is formed having a waist opening and a pair of leg openings.
Abstract:
A moisture management pant undergarment comprising booster pad which is in a friction, non-slip or interference fit arrangement with a crotch panel of an underwear garment.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an article (1) comprising a chassis (2) and a belt (3). The belt (3) is separable from the chassis (2) and is arranged to be placed around the waist of a wearer. The belt (3) comprises first elastic means (22) for allowing stretching of the belt (3) during use in a lateral direction. The chassis (2) comprises at least a first layer (4) of a conformable material for the user. The chassis (2) comprises longitudinal sides (5, 6) and lateral sides (7, 8) and is divided into a front portion (9), a rear portion (10) and a crotch portion (11) located between the front portion (9) and the rear portion (10) in a longitudinal direction. The front portion (9) and/or the rear portion (10) of the chassis (2) comprises a pair of first fastening means (12) being separate with a first distance (L1). The chassis (2) is arranged to be detachably attached to the outer surface (18) of the belt (3) by means of said first fastening means (12). Said outer surface (18) comprises second fastening means (19) arranged to be detachably attached to the first fastening means (12). The chassis (2) comprises a pair of first stretch markings (13) being related to the first distance (L1). The belt (3) comprises a pair of second stretch markings (16) marking out a second distance (L2) when the belt (3) is in a relaxed state and a predetermined third distance (L3) when the belt (3) is in a stretched state. The first stretch markings (13) are intended, in the relaxed state, to be positioned in conjunction with the second stretch markings (16) or within the second distance (L2) for allowing the chassis (2) to be attached to the belt (3) in the relaxed state via the first fastening means (12) and allowing the belt (3) to be stretched into the third distance (L3) without jeopardizing the fastening of the first fastening means (12).
