摘要: Systems are disclosed for hybrid knee arthroplasty including manual posterior femoral resection using a reusable cut guide and computer-assisted resection of other cuts. The cut guide includes a fixed component including an adjustment mechanism, an anterior portion, and a central portion between distal contact portions. Tracks are disposed between the central portion and each of the distal contact portions. The cut guide also includes an adjustable component that includes adjustable portions configured to be received by the tracks. An interior portion extends from the adjustable portions and is coupled to an exterior portion at a central divider. The interior portion is spaced from the exterior portion on the sides of the central divider to form cut slots. An actuator is coupled to the interior portion, in operable communication with the adjustment mechanism, and configured to move the adjustable component relative to the fixed component.

摘要: A bone alignment system (100) and method for aligning a fractured bone is disclosed. The system enables moving or pushing a bone fragment away from a bone alignment device (e.g., bone plate). Thus arranged, the system may be used to medialize a bone fragment to produce proper reduction and alignment prior to final fixation of the fractured bone. In addition, the system may enable fine adjustment of the bone fragment after provisional fixation without loss of reduction. The system includes a bone alignment device (e.g., bone plate 112), a guide (130), and a push rod (150). The guide being operative coupled to the bone alignment device. The push rod being threadably coupled to the guide. The push rod including a tip to contact, move, and maintain the bone fragment away from the bone alignment device.

摘要: A motorized strut for use in a motorized spatial frame in disclosed. The motorized strut including an adjustment mechanism arranged and configured to enable the motorized strut to be transitioned between first and second modes of operation. In the first mode of operation, the motorized strut is arranged and configured so that actuation of the motor is not required to translate an inner body of the motorized strut relative to an outer body of the motorized strut to adjust an overall length of the motorized strut. As such, in the first mode of operation, the overall length of the strut can be manually adjusted to facilitate more efficient (e.g., faster) length adjustment. In the second mode of operation, actuation of the motor is required to adjust the overall length of the motorized strut to facilitate slower, more precise adjustment of the motorized strut.

摘要: An implant delivery system (40) is disclosed. The implant delivery system includes a delivery shaft (36) and a detachable frame (46) coupled to the distal portion of the delivery shaft and longitudinally advanceable relative to a delivery sheath (34). The detachable frame includes a body portion (56) and a plurality of attachment arms (64a-64c) extending away from the body portion; the body portion further includes a first support strut (65a) positioned adjacent to a second support strut (65b). The first support strut converges with the second support strut at a first convergence region, and a first attachment arm (64c) of the plurality of attachment arms extends away from the first convergence region. A tether (82) is secured to the detachable frame and extends through a lumen of the delivery shaft to a handle. The tether may be secured to a connection assembly (74), including a tack member (84), a tack disk (80) and a collar (76). The connection assembly may be attached to the detachable frame. The handle may include a tether clamp to secure the tether relative to the handle.
