Abstract: A rope anchor (10) with a J-shaped a body (12) having a hook (16) and spine (18). The spine end (52) has a rope attachment hole (52) and a rope slot (60) that is enclosed or gated. The gate (62) is biased closed and pushed open to allow access to the rope slot (60) for a rope. A tip (14), composed of a flat chip (100) of metallic material, fits into a slot (122) at the end (48) of the hook (16). The tip (14) is generally triangular with two or three sharp corners (102) or square or rectangular with four sharp corners (102). The slot (122) orients the tip (14) to expose only one sharp corner (102) or two adjacent sharp corners (102). When an exposed sharp corner (102) is not suitable for use, the tip (14) can be reoriented to expose a different sharp corner (102).

Abstract: A customizable ergonomic load-carrying vest-pack for goods of a person, including an adjustable belt system with an adjustable-length belt configured to encircle the waist of the person and a pair of adjustable shoulder supports. Collectively adjusting each of the adjustable-length belt, the substantially horizontal adjustable-length chest strap and each angularly extending adjustable-length shoulder strap enables a customized fit for the vest-pack to the person.
