摘要： An improved golf club head is provided having a striking face portion, a topline, a heel portion adapted to receive a shaft, a toe portion, and a sole. The improved golf club head includes port holes extending from one or more cavities to allow insertion of a polymer and metal shot into the golf club head. The insertion of a polymer and metal shot facilitates increasing weight and/or biasing weight distribution of the golf club head. The improved golf club head may be manufactured by forging the main body of the golf club head, machining a recess into the main body, and attaching an insert in the recess. The recess forms a cavity and allows a port hole to facilitate insertion of the polymer and metal shot into the golf club head. After insertion, the polymer is cured to form the golf club head.

摘要： Embodiments of golf club heads with components composed of a metal-composite-metal construction are described herein. The metal -composite-metal construction makes up a portion of the golf club head. The metal-composite-metal construction can make up any one or combination of the following structures: faceplate, face insert, internal ribs, turbulators, crown insert, or weight channel. The composite layer of the metal-composite-metal construction is composed of reinforced fibers. The metal-composite-metal construction allows for weight savings in the golf club head while maintaining durability, strength, rigidity, and performance.

摘要： In one or more arrangements, a golf club head having improved sole geometry is provided. The golf club head includes a striking face portion located at a frontal portion of the golf club head, a topline located at an upper portion of the golf club head, a heel portion located at a proximal end of the golf club head, a toe portion located at a distal end of the golf club head opposite the heel portion, and a sole located at a lower portion of the golf club head. The golf club head is adapted to receive a shaft. The golf club has a cross section having a sole width less than 15 mm and a camber area percentage greater than 40% (and in some arrangements greater than or equal to approximately 59%). In some arrangements, the cross section additionally exhibits trailing edge relief.

摘要： A golf club head (100) is disclosed. The golf club comprises a ball striking face (102), heel, toe, top ridge (106), and an arcuate bottom sole (108) having a greater ground contact area located adjacent a central portion of a leading edge (114) of the club head that diminishes in size in a heel to toe direction toward a trailing edge of the club head. The club head (100) is further defined by a leading edge (114) being configured with a radius no greater than 50mm approximately midway between the heel and toe to enable the golf club head (100) to enter and penetrate the supporting turf during the execution of a golf shot.
