摘要: A dual motorcycle launcher (10) includes a pair of side-by-side downwardly angled launch ramps (12 and 13) for receiving and supporting a pair of toy motorcycles (40 and 50). A release mechanism within the launcher cooperates with the rear hubs (51) of the motorcycles to restrain them against release while a crank mechanism (14) is operated to energize the flywheel-powered drive apparatus (80) within each toy motorcycle. A common crank mechanism (14) provides the simultaneous energizing of both motorcycles and a common latch release (21) releases the restraint upon both motorcycles providing a racing-type start and racing activity.

摘要: A remote-controlled toy vehicle includes a plurality of road wheels supporting the toy vehicle for movement. A driving motor is selectively reversible between first and second directions of rotation and is drivingly connected to at least one of the road wheels through a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism operates in at least two modes, such that operation of the driving motor in either of its opposing directions of rotation causes rotation of the at least one road wheel to propel the toy vehicle in only a forward vehicle direction. A second motor can provide braking action or a third mode of forward vehicle propulsion.

A steering drive (44) responds to radio signals to cause the link (46) to pivot the four-bar linkage (48) to initiate and maintain a turn. The four-bar linkage (48) has spaced members (58a, 58b) located on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis, with rearward ends pivotally connected to the chassis (20) at locations further from the longitudinal axis than forward ends which pivotally connect to a front wheel fork coupler (60). The four-bar linkage (48) enables pivotal movement of the front wheel (28) about a castering arc (68) which is projected in front of the four-bar linkage (48). The toy vehicle (10) further includes a flywheel assembly (110) incorporated within the rear wheel (30), to further enhance stability. A propulsion drive (80) drives the rear wheel (30) and a weighted flywheel (114), with the weighted flywheel (114) rotating substantially faster than the rear wheel (30) during operation.

摘要: The present invention is a combination toy (10) including a toy vehicle (20), an articulated toy figure (41 ), and at least one torsional spring (58). The toy vehicle (20) has a propulsion motor (34) for self movement and a handlebar (50) with distal ends.
