Abstract:
The present invention allows the precise application of pesticides; it is a system that both provides better plant-pesticide interaction and reduces the drift to the nature, thus preventing the excessive pesticide usage and protecting the environment. The present invention is a system that is not previously used in crop sprayers and instantaneously changes the nozzle orientation angle, which is a term that emerges for the first time thanks to this invention, in the opposite direction to the wind and depending on the wind speed. The system can be adapted to all crop sprayers with the spraying booms.
Abstract:
A window-cleaning machine for windows of buildings, ships, airplanes, tanks, etc. It comprises a main cleaning body and a securing device. The securing device comprises multiple cables and allows the main body to be positioned at any point on the surface. The machine further comprises an assembly of omnidirectional wheels which enable it to move over any obstacle or irregularity on the surface.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for blasting, washing and powder coating an object, the invention can cover the object and then spray the entire object while moving up and down and rotating around the object.
Abstract:
Mobile towers of an irrigation system have drive wheel assemblies that propel the towers along the ground. At least certain of the wheel assemblies may comprise dual wheels that share a common axis of rotation but are separately driven by their own drive motor. By driving the two separate wheels in unison but with their own individual drive shafts, increased ground-engaging surface area can be obtained without a consequential increase in load for any one motor.
Abstract:
An electrical thermal glass ampoule for fire fighting sprinkler is disclosed. The ampoule (200) according to the present invention comprises a closed hollow cylindrical glass casing (100), an electrically heating coil (120) installed inside of said glass casing, a negative electrode (140) provided on outer surface at bottom end of said casing and electrically connected with one end of said coil, a positive electrode (142) provided on outer surface at side wall of said casing and electrically connected with the other end of said coil, and heat expansive gas (G) entrapped inside the casing. The glass ampoule (200) can be precisely manufactured as a single body integrated with a thermal coil (120) inside of the casing, have good install handiness due to no necessity of coil being wound around the ampoule and has long term duration because the coil (120) is installed inside the glass casing (100) and, thus can be prevented from corrosion. Further, the glass ampoule (200) according to the present invention has another advantage of much faster actuating response because the coil (120) is heated inside the glass casing and, thus, can give heat directly to the gas (G).
Abstract:
Provided is a mobile liquid deployment vehicle and system. The vehicle comprises a mobile liquid deployment vehicle, comprising a carriage having a plurality of ground engaging wheels; a tower containing a channel therein that is hingedly connected to the carriage, a first end of the tower having an input connector to receive liquid; and an output device attached to a second end of the tower that is configured to receive liquid from the tower for deployment. The tower is able to move between a stowed position and a spraying position. A system is also disclosed, in which a plurality of vehicles are fluidly connected, such as in series, to deploy liquid over a vast area. Once set up, a vehicle and the system can be operated in an autonomous or semi-autonomous manner to aid in fighting and/or preventing fires.
Abstract:
A system for improved control and monitoring of a movable tower in an irrigation system is provided. A computer controller associated with a tower receives an indication of parameter modification. The system is then able to change parameters at a component of the tower control system based on the received parameters. The system stores the current angle sensed between two adjacent span members. If the stored angle is between two threshold levels, a drive signal is provided to a motor. The system is operable to selectively apply a drive signal at a tower in an align mode and provides the ability to digitally modify a threshold that is used in a machine run-mode to operate the motor at a tower. Embodiments provide enhanced machine control that achieves faster recovery from faults, new operating modes, the ability to repair remotely, and to coordinate and automate multiple moves in a recovery.
Abstract:
A liquid-emitting device (1) for gravity-based irrigation systems, comprising a support structure (2) that defines a first longitudinal axis (X-i) and has a nozzle (3) for generating an irrigation jet (J) coaxial with the first axis (X 1 ), a substantially tubular body (5) located below the support structure (2) and a substantially circular baffle plate (6) facing the nozzle (3) and rotatably mounted in the tubular body (5) to rotate about a second longitudinal axis (X 2 ). The first axis (X 1 ) and the nozzle (3) are stationary relative to the support structure (2), the second longitudinal axis (X 2 ) is free to rotate about the first axis (X 1 ) with a precessional motion, guide means are designed to be removably coupled to the tubular body (5) to interact with the baffle plate (6) and prevent the precessional motion about the first axis (X 1 ) while allowing the rotational motion about the second axis (X 2 ). A diverting member (13) is also adapted to be removably positioned downstream from the nozzle (3) to direct the jet (J) over a sector portion (14) of the baffle plate (6) and distribute the liquid over a sector area of the soil. An arrangement of a nutating liquid- emitting device (1) in combination with a anti-nutating adaptation kit (23).
Abstract:
This invention relates to a mining apparatus comprising 10 a self-propelled vehicle unit 12 that includes a suitable tool 14 located at an operative front end of the vehicle unit 12 for performing work on a mine face 16 by operatively releasing matter 18 from the mine face 16. Fluid spray means 22 is further included on the vehicle unit 12 which is adapted to operatively generate a fluid stream 34 that includes an atomised water and gas mixture which is directed so as to act on the matter 18 operatively released from the mine face 16 by the tool 14.
