Abstract: An air-assisted airless spray gun (10) includes a valve cartridge (44, 46) configured to control a flow of air or spray fluid through the spray gun (10). The valve cartridge (44, 46) includes a housing configured to interface with the spray gun body (12) and fully supporting the flow control components (76, 78, 80) of the valve cartridge (44, 46). The housing is secured within a bore (48, 50) of the spray gun body. The valve member (76, 78, 80) is supported by the housing and actuatable relative to a seat. The valve (76, 78, 80) is formed between the seal end of the valve member and the seat.

Abstract: Handheld gas spray systems for mixing and dispensing multi- component compositions. The system comprises a fluid conveyance subassembly in fluid communication with a syringe, wherein the syringe houses at least two different sealant components. The system comprises further a housing, a gas cartridge disposed inside the housing and a gas valve assembly disposed inside the housing, wherein the gas valve assembly is configured to control flow of gas from the gas cartridge to the fluid conveyance subassembly. A trigger is configured to actuate the gas valve assembly and a detachable spray tip is configured to dispense the multi-component fluid out of the applicator.
