摘要： The invention concerns a printing method and device for printing copies in limited series, said method comprising the following successive steps: a) inputting the original document to be printed in a computer (100) memory equipped with a printing control and an image manipulating software; b) by means of said software, determining in the computer (100) a digital image corresponding to a reversed image of the original document according to a line symmetry; c) transmitting in the form of a digital command to a printing system said reversed digital image to a printing system (101, 102) which uses ink adapted to stencil duplication by partial pigment transport on paper moistened with a solvent, to produce a disposable matrix which is a negative print of the original document; d) using the disposable matrix in the printing system (101, 102) to produce the required number of copies; e) disposing of the matrix at the end of said stencil duplication process.

One method of making an image transfer film article includes printing an image onto a transparent thermoplastic protective layer, where the image is formed by an ink-jet printer and an organic solvent-based ink including an organic solvent, a thermoplastic material, and a pigment; and then drying off at least a portion of the organic solvent to form the image transfer film article.

The compositions useful in the present disclosure include a composition that is formulated to be applied and affixed to a surface. If desired, the composition may be substantially removed from the surface to remove a portion or substantially all of the stain before being affixed to the surface. If a user desires to remove the composition from the surface, the composition is formulated to be removed by a number of methods including, for example, vacuuming, wet extraction, chemical application, and the like. If the user desires to affix the composition to the surface in a permanent or semi-permanent manner, the composition may be affixed to the surface by applying energy thereto in the form of, for example, heat, pressure, emitted waves, an emitted electrical field, a magnetic field, and/or a chemical. The compositions may also be utilized in the form of a kit or in conjunction with a design device, such as a stencil, to control the application of the composition to create, for example, a pattern on the surface.

摘要： Improvements that prevent tampering of images on identification documents for example identity cards, credit cards and the like, and passports. The document includes a full color image of a person, and a second, full, achromatic image o the person formed underneath and spaced from the color image and in congruence therewith using a laser. The second full image is not visible underneath the first full image during normal viewing of the document, and is only visible upon removal of all or a portion of the first full image. As a result, the document and the image have no outwardly apparent visual difference to the document holder or to a would-be counterfeiter. This provides a covert security feature that is not known or seen until the document is attacked by removing the first full image.
