Packaging method and device in which, with the aid of a stretch hood system 1, a tubular film portion 3 is drawn over an article 2 that is to be packaged. The tubular film portion 3 is firstly reefed with the aid of a reefing device 8 onto at least two reefing fingers 7 of a drawing-over device 6. Then, by moving the drawing-over device 6 along the article 2 that is to be packaged, the tubular film portion 3 is unreefed from the reefing fingers 7 of the drawing-over device 6 and drawn at least in sections over the article 2. During the reefing, the tubular film portion 3 is at least intermittently inflated.

The present Invention teaches a new apparatus and process for manufacturing mesh bags using a tube cloth. The apparatus and process involve supplying a continuous tube cloth and at least one band with preprinted labels, propping up the tube cloth with a dynamic guiding assembly, attaching the preprinted labels to the tube cloth using hot melted adhesive or heat sealing methods and manufacturing a product from the tube cloth with the horizontal preprinted labels, and attaching plastic film to the tube mesh cloth. The invention also teaches a dynamic guiding assembly which can be used to punch holes on the tube cloth with heating press and avoid attaching of two opposite sides of the tube cloth.

The invention relates to a container sleeving device (10) for arranging sleeves around containers conveyed on a conveyor, comprising: - a frame (27) for supporting a spreading unit (25); - a foil supply (12, 13, 18) for supplying foil to the spreading unit (25), configured to open the foil to form sleeves and comprising a bottom part (65) configured as a generally flat element (78), a top part (67) connfigured as a generally cylindrical element and an intermediate part (66) arranged between the bottom and top par; - a first set of opposite upper guide rollers (71a, 71b) and a second set of opposite lower guide rollers (72a, 72b), both the lower and upper guide rollers being arranged at the intermediate part in the plane of the flat element (78) of the bottom part; - a set of opposite frame rollers (73a, 73b) connected to the frame (27) and arranged so as to transport the sleeve between the frame rollers and guide rollers in upward direction; wherein the frame rollers (73a, 73b) are arranged below the upper guide rollers so as to support the spreading unit on the frame.

The invention relates to a device for arranging a sleeve-like foil envelope around an object, comprising supply means for supplying said sleeve-like foil envelope around at least one spreading element (190), as well as discharge means for discharging the sleeve-like foil envelope from the device and arranging it around the object. The object of the invention is to provide a device which on the one hand requires less installation space and which, in addition, is suitable for use as a multiple enveloping device, in which several envelopes can be arranged around objects simultaneously (or in succession). In order to accomplish that object, the discharge means are disposed within said at least one spreading element. Not only does this lead to a significant reduction of the required amount of installation space, but it also makes it possible to operate the device at a higher speed and, above all, as a multiple device.

A garment bagging apparatus having a frame connected to a feeder drive train for supporting a supply of bagging material. A garment support is positioned relative to the feeder drive train. Suspension members attached to the frame suspend the apparatus off of and in spaced apart relation to a floor surface. A feed carriage is included with support members to moveably support the feed carriage solely from a portion of the frame above the feed carriage. Grippers are mounted on the feed carriage to grip the bagging material. When a garment is hung from the garment support, the feed carriage is moveable to positions below the garment.
