    摘要: It is an object of the invention to improve the strength of a packaging pouch (2) for products such as wet wipes. For this purpose the invention involves adding an upper gusset connecting the front and rear faces of the packaging pouch and attaching the flap to this upper gusset through a slit made in the front face of the packaging pouch. As an illustrative embodiment, the packaging pouch (2) is generally envelope-like, having in particular a rear face (4) and a front face (6), the front face (6) being provided with a dispensing window which can be closed by a flap (8), and the upper edges (4a, 6a) of the rear face (4) and front face (6) being bonded to the inner layer of an upper gusset (12); which upper gusset (12), flap (8) and front face (6) are all joined together. Also, the upper edge (6a) of the front face (6) has at least one slit (22) through which at least part of the inner layer of the upper edge (8a) of the flap (8) is bonded onto a part of the inner layer of the upper gusset (12).

    摘要: A sealable container includes a first layer and a second layer coupled to the first layer to define a cavity therebetween. The second layer is coupled to the first layer at a first side sector, a lower sector, and a second side sector opposite the first side sector such that an opening in fluid communication with the cavity is defined between the first layer and the second layer at an upper sector opposite the lower sector. The second layer includes a flap portion at the upper sector extending beyond an upper edge of the first layer. A first coupling mechanism is coupled to an inner surface of the second layer generally facing the first layer at the upper sector, and a second coupling mechanism is coupled to an outer surface of the second layer generally facing away from the first layer at the upper sector.

    摘要: An initially rectangular sheet of substrate is passed through a cutting machine to form the bank shown for example in figure 1. Although not shown in the figures, printed material is printed onto at least some of the surface that is depicted in figure 1. Folding along fold line (32) results in the flap (26) being folded against the second panel (28). Whilst in this position the flap (26) is ready to be housed internally within the substrate arrangement (10) once a fold along the first fold line (31) is completed. Adhesive bonding results in the article as shown in figure 2, which may be sent via a postal system. Whilst in this state the surface of the substrate sheet bearing the printed material is now substantially obscured from an external viewpoint. The recipient tears away the tear strip (42), allowing the unbonded portion (39) of the first panel (27) to be unfolded, which, in turn, allows the flap (26) to also be unfolded, resulting in the configuration illustrated in figure 3. This reveals the printed material to the recipient.
