Abstract:
It is a multifunctional apparatus (1) comprising, within one single insulated case (2) provided with automatic electronic control systems, suitable and appropriate electromechanical parts and devices granting, in absolute operational autonomy within the different functions, the sorting, fractionating, compacting and collecting of such solid city waste, as glass-ceramics-plastics-polystyrene-plate-paperboard-paper. The apparatus is so designed to operate at the source of the solid city waste production and to meet the requirements relevant to the specific problem of the collectivity, as the apparatus, although keeping its technical and functional characteristics unaltered, has been designed in three basic versions, namely: a) electric utensil multisystem - for family use; b) medium dimension multisystem - for pubs, restaurants, small joint owner communities, small activities; c) large dimension multisystem - for large joint owner communities, hotels, hospitals, mess rooms and school dining halls, barracks, etc.
Abstract:
A process is disclosed for collecting and disposing of waste (1), in particular household rubbish. Waste is separately collected and sorted at the place at which it is produced in plastic bags (3a, 3b, 3c) provided with appropriate distinguishing markings (2a, 2b, 2c) in accordance with recycling criteria. Portions of waste (4) are packaged by closing and vacuum-sealing the plastic bags, and the closed and vacuum-sealed bags that contain the various types of waste are placed together at random into at least one common garbage container (5) and transported to a central collecting point where the plastic bags are sorted according to their markings for final disposal and/or recycling.
Abstract:
A box system for collection of used needles, syringes and other used disposable articles or other risky or infectious waste, comprising a cabinet (2) preferably of sheet metal which preferably is adapted to be mounted to a wall or another fixed object, and which is adapted to encase a disposable container (4) preferably of plastics material in such a way that a receiving opening (18) of the disposable container (4) is accessible from the outside of the cabinet (2), the disposable container (4) comprising a lid (30) and/or means (20) arranged to seal the receiving opening (18) when the disposable container (4) is full or is exchanged, wherein, in connection with the receiving opening (18), the disposable container (4) comprises means (28) adapted for use when pulling needles off disposable syringes and the said sealing means for the receiving opening (18) are adapted for liquid-titht sealing of the disposable container (4).
Abstract:
A housing comprising multiple containers for the differentiated collection of household waste has a supporting structure (1) divided in separate compartments by separating panels (3) for housing the containers. These containers are used for e.g. collecting oil (6), exhausted batteries (5), paper (11), glass (7), ferrous metals (8), non ferrous metals (9) and organic trash (10). Each container is provided with means (12, 13) for opening the container and emptying the contents into suitable public collection containers.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a device for holding re-usable materials which comprises a plurality of receptacles for different re-usable materials disposed in a housing (19), which is of a step-like design (16, 17, 18), the lids (26, 28, 29) which allow access to the receptacles simultaneously acting as a tread.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a rubbish container (3). The available volume of said rubbish container can subsequently be adjusted according to requirements in that an insert (1, 6) designed for this purpose divides the rubbish container as required into different chambers with different volumes. Said insert can also be used as fastening means for a partition (15) which can be subsequently introduced.
Abstract:
Pocket minicontainer, disposable and made of sheet material such as cardboard, aluminium, plastic or a mixture of said products, die-cut and scored for its bending and tridimensional conformation by the user, in various configurations, scored for its further folding and final closing after having introduced residues and waste and before it is deposited or thrown in a dustbin or appropriate container.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a raw refuse disposer for crushing raw refuse charged together with drainage and for separating and recovering solid ingredient from the crushed raw refuse to discharge water and the drainage to the outside. The disposer comprises a crusher (2) for crushing raw refuse, a raw refuse collecting bag (3) for separating and recovering solid ingredients from a raw refuse crushed by the crusher to discharge water, a refuse collector (4) for accommodating therein the raw refuse collecting bag, a drainpipe (5) connected between a drainage inlet (46) of the refuse collector and a drainage outlet (26) of the crusher in such a manner as to slope down toward the drainage inlet of the refuse collector so as to permit drainage discharged from the drainage outlet of the crusher to naturally flow down, and a raw refuse transport pipe connected between a refuse inlet (45) of the refuse collector and a raw refuse outlet (27) of the crusher in such a manner as to slope up toward the refuse inlet of the refuse collector and have its intermediate portion positioned higher than the drainage outlet of the crusher.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a package for storing waste cardboard to be recycled including a box made from cardboard, the box having a base, walls and a closable top, and at least one of the walls having at least one aperture therethrough. Also disclosed is a method for storing waste cardboard to be recycled including the steps of assembling a box made from cardboard and until the box is full placing and compressing layers of pieces of cardboard into the box such that parts of the cardboard pieces extend out of the aperture or apertures thereby holding the compressed pieces of cardboard compressed. Using the method and package disclosed waste cardboard can be conveniently stored and together with the box can be recycled doing away with the need to empty the storage container.
Abstract:
Collection units for depositing refuse material (19a) are provided for the public in a manner known per se, said units having means of access in the form of an opening (4a). According to the invention, said units are provided with: (a) means (4a, 25, 26, 27, 28) for identifying, at least roughly, a refuse article placed by, or introduced into said opening; (b) means (24) for conveying the refuse article beyond the opening and (c) means (33) for issuing proof of deposit (22a), such as a gift voucher, controlled by said identification means optionally combined with said conveying means.
