A containment unit that facilitates delivery of parcels using drones is provided. An example containment unit comprises an inner housing unit and an outer housing unit. The inner housing unit includes a first and second sidewall that are connected by an end piece and have a bottom opening in between. The inner housing unit is movable from a retracted position over a floor of the containment unit to an extended position, where a portion of the opening is extended beyond the floor. A parcel may be inserted into a volume of space within the inner housing unit from below through the opening and pulled into the containment unit by the end piece when the inner housing unit is retracted. The containment unit can be used as part of a drone delivery system that can also include an elevated delivery platform, a computer application, or any combination of these aspects.

A knockdown, portable lift is relatively compact and lightweight for transport and use where there is no existing means for lifting a load between a lower surface and an upper surface or where the existing means cannot be used. Components of the lift are stored in a base portion of the lift and are assembled on site for forming a lift frame extending between the upper and lower surfaces. A platform and drive assembly are supported on the lift frame and are driven together up and down tracks on each side of the lift frame using a rotary drive, such as a hand crank or electric motor, to power the drive assembly. The drive assembly is operable by a person on or off the platform from either the upper or lower surface or traversing stairs over which the platform is moving. The drive assembly incorporates a unique overspeed braking system and a unique clutch arrangement.

The invention relates to a rail transport system comprising at least two runners (20) having a shaped profile, a transport rail (61) and a transport carriage (2), the runners (20) with a shaped profile being extended over a staircase or over a flat section and the transport carriage (2) being moved along the transport rail (61). The transport carriage is provided with at least one electric motor. The runners (20) having a shaped profile and the transport rail (61) are stored in the transport carriage (2). The invention also relates to a method for constructing a rail transport system and for transporting at least one container for loading and/or unloading the galley of an aeroplane, and to a system for simultaneously loading and/or unloading the galley of an aeroplane.

Es wird eine Aufzugseil-Trägerspule (1) beschrieben, wie sie insbesonderezum bewirken eines seilartigen Kompensationsgewichts bei einem Verlängern einer verlängerbaren Aufzuganlage in Form eines Kletteraufzugs eingesetzt werden kann. Die Aufzugseil- Trägerspule (1) umfasst eine Trägerspule (3) und ein auf die Trägerspule (3) aufgewickeltes Aufzugseil (5). Die Trägerspule (3) weist ferner einen in einer Axialrichtung (7) verlaufenden Spulenkern (9) auf. Ferner weist die Trägerspule (3) an in der Axialrichtung (7) gegenüberliegenden Enden des Spulenkerns (9) jeweils eine sich in einer Ebene quer zur Axialrichtung erstreckende kleinere Seitenbegrenzung (11) auf. Die Trägerspule (3) weist weiterhin an in der Axialrichtung (7) gegenüberliegenden Enden des Spulenkerns (9) und bezogen auf die kleineren Seitenbegrenzungen(11) in der Axialrichtung (7) beispielsweise weiter außen liegend jeweils eine sich in einer Ebene quer zur Axialrichtung (7) erstreckende größere Seitenbegrenzung (13) auf. Dabei kann eine erste Teillänge des Gewichtskompensationsseils (31) von der Aufzugseil- Trägerspule (1) abgewickelt werden und an die Aufzugkabine (23) und das Gegengewicht (25) angehängt werden. Anschließend kann die Aufzugseil-Trägerspule (1) nach Abnehmen der größeren Seitenbegrenzung (13) zusammen mit einem darauf verbleibenden Teil des Gewichtskompensationsseils (31) platzsparend an dem Gegengewicht (25) befestigt werden.

A hoisting device for the transfer of formwork and other construction materials that does not require cutting and welding of the guide rails for assembly and disassembly on site, yet does not pose the difficulties of transporting and handling the fixed span of a full length guide rail. The hoisting device also offers advantages in the transfer materials along floors of buildings that do not follow a vertical line, and in allowing the hoist car to access "green" slabs that are yet to attain full strength.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein System zum Transport von Lasten zu und von einem Dachbereich. Dieses System weist einen Schrägaufzug (1) und ein an einer Führungsbahn (2) des Schrägaufzugs (1) verfahrbares Hubmittel (7) auf. Das Hubmittel (7) ist zum Transport eines mit ihm kuppelbaren und wieder lösbaren Lastaufnahmemittels (8) vorgesehen. Weiters ist zumindest ein auf dem Dach angeordnetes und dort entlang von Dachlatten verschiebbares, zum Transport des Lastaumahmemittels (8) auf dem Dach dienendes Transportmittel (9) vorgesehen. Das Lastaufnahmemittel (8) ist in einer Lade/Entladeposition, in welcher das zumindest eine Transportmittel (9) neben dem Hubmittel (7) positioniert ist, direkt zwischen dem Hubmittel (7) und dem zumindest einem Transportmittel (9) verschiebbar.

Further, the platform may comprise at least one roller and a transmission connected to the at least one roller of the assembly, wherein rotation of the at least one roller causes the platform to move relative to the support frame. Another aspect of the present invention relates to a method of moving a wheelchair lift. Particularly, a wheelchair may be positioned such that at least one wheel of the wheelchair contacts a drive mechanism of a platform, wherein platform is positioned at an initial position. Further, the at least one wheel of the wheelchair may be rotated to cause the platform to move relative to the initial position.
