    Abstract: Manual displacement mechanism (2) and a device provided therewith. The displacement mechanism comprises: • - a displacement frame comprising a housing (4), and a wheel (6) that is provided at a first end of the housing, wherein the wheel is moveable relative to the frame between a displacement position wherein the device can be displaced and a stationary position wherein the device is in a stationary position; • - a steering handle (8) that is operatively coupled to the wheel with a linkage mechanism that is configured for moving the wheel relative to the frame, and wherein the steering handle is connected to the displacement frame at a second end of the housing; and • - a connector (10) configured for connecting the manual displacement mechanism with the pallet truck or lifting device, wherein the connector comprises a hinge (22) for hingedly connecting to the device and a connector spring element (32) configured for providing a pretension on the wheel.

    Abstract: A plurality of portable lifts are dynamically configured to form a lift system for raising and lowering of vehicle. Each portable lift is added to the lift system and communicates wirelessly with a centralized control module. Some systems guide the user through a sequenced association of lifts in particular relative positions around the vehicle, while others use automatic position-detection techniques to determine those relative positions without explicit user input. Some systems allow definition of subsystems that can be operated together. Flexible controls may selectively allow operation of individual lifts, pairs or subsystems of lifts, or the full system at once. Controls on each lift may communicate commands for other lifts by way of the centralized control module.

    Abstract: A modular inground lift is supported by the lift bay floor. The lift includes self contained modules which have their own power units. A telescoping cylinder and locking leg allow the depth of the lift to be shallower than before. The use of VFD to control the motors allows monitoring of the loads, both during raising and lowering.     Abstract: A system is used for lifting a heavy oversized structural element. At least two opposing lifts are placement adjacent opposing sides of the element. Each lift includes a base, a tower, an elevator, and an actuator. The tower extending vertically from the base, and the elevator is disposed on the tower. A support extends from the elevator outward from the tower to engage a point on the element. A guide of the elevator is configured to ride along a rail of the tower. The actuator is connected to the elevator and is configured to move with the elevator vertically along the tower. The actuator can include a strand jack disposed on the elevator. Hydraulic operation of the stand jack moves the jack and elevator along a strand extending along the tower. The arrangements of the lifts leave space below the raised element free for access to other operations.

    Abstract: A vehicle lift comprising a vertically-orientated column and a pair of swing arms vertically-shiftable with respect to the post. The swing arms are configured to rotate with respect to the column. The vehicle lift additionally includes a sensor associated with each swing arm. Each sensor is configured to obtain information related to its respective swing arm. Each sensor is also associated with a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag, with the RFID tag being configured to provide power to its respective sensor.
