Also disclosed are fluids that comprise a liquid component, and a particulate composition, the particulate composition comprising macro-particulates and degradable particulates having a mean particle diameter of at least about 20 times smaller than the mean particle diameter of the macro-particulates, wherein the degradable particulates are present in the particulate composition in an amount sufficient to reduce friction between the macro-particulates. Methods of using the particulate compositions and fluids are also disclosed.

Beansprucht wird die Verwendung einer Aluminatzement-Komponente a) zur Steuerung der Rheologie von Flüssigphasen auf Basis einer Ton-Komponente b). Vorzugsweise sollte es sich bei der Komponente a) um Calcium-Aluminat-Zemente und bei der Komponente b) um Tone vom Smektit-Typ handeln. Durch die Verwendung der Komponente a), die in Anteilen >= 50 Gew.-% aus mindestens einem Vertreter der Calcium-Aluminat-Zemente bestehen sollte und die vorzugsweise zur Rheologiesteuerung von wasser- und/oder ölbasierten Systemen eingesetzt wird, kann eine scherverdünnende und thixotrope Verdickung erreicht werden, die im Ergebnis mit denen der bisher bekannten Additive wie bspw. auf Basis von Mischmetalloxid/Mischmetallhydroxid (MMO/MMH) verglichen werden können. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Verwendung wird ein wirtschaftliches System zur Verfügung gestellt, welches sich als Additiv einer bekannten Verbindungsklasse bedient, wobei die gewünschten Effekte bereits mit geringen Zugabemengen erreicht werden können.

Provided are methods and systems for treating a subterranean formation. One such method includes preparing an emulsion comprising: an aqueous liquid; a multifunction hydrolysable oil; a co-solvent; and a surfactant. The method further includes combining the emulsion with a carrier fluid to provide a treatment fluid. The method additionally includes introducing the treatment fluid to the subterranean formation. The method also includes contacting hydrocarbons within the subterranean formation with the treatment fluid, and hydrolyzing the multifunction hydrolysable oil to provide an organic acid and an alcohol within the subterranean formation.
