摘要: The disclosure provides a solution to problems associated with vibrations during drilling by applying metrics on post job data and providing inputs from past experiences to pre-job planning for drilling jobs. The vibration information and analysis can also be used during a current drilling operation wherein a vibration source can be automatically identified and operating parameters can be changed to mitigate the vibration. The disclosure provides a method of executing a drilling operation, a vibration analyzer, and a drilling system. In one example, the method includes: (1) collecting drilling job data from a completed drilling job, wherein the drilling job data includes sensor data collected from downhole sensors, (2) determining a vibration severity index from the sensor data, and (3) executing at least a portion of a drilling operation based on the vibration severity index.

摘要: A method or system for increasing drilling accuracy. The method and system may comprise generating one or more measurements of at least a first drilling parameter and a second drilling parameter, determining a relationship between the first drilling parameter and the second drilling parameter, creating one or more constraints from the relationship, and minimizing a cost function using the one or more constraints. The method and system may further comprise calculating one or more control commands based at least in part on the minimizing the cost function and the one or more constraints and updating a drilling operation according to the one or more control commands.

摘要: A drilling system is provided that includes a wellbore device. The wellbore device includes a housing including a bore and a seal element composed of an elastomeric material, positioned within the housing, and configured to seal the bore. The wellbore device includes a bearing assembly supported within the housing and configured to enable the seal element to rotate relative to the housing. The drilling system includes a wireless seal wear monitoring system that includes an RFID tag embedded within the seal element and an RFID transceiver and an RFID antenna disposed within a recess of the housing at an axial location adjacent the RFID tag. The RFID transceiver and RFID antenna are configured to communicate with the RFID tag and a control system. The control system is configured to determine a presence of wear in the seal element based on information provided by the RFID tag.

摘要: The disclosure provides a solution for monitoring stick-slip vibrations without using any surface torque measurements. Instead, the disclosure provides a method to monitor stick-slip vibrations based on rotational speed. A stick-slip monitor, a top drive controller and a method of operating a drill string are provided herein that use rotational speed for monitoring stick-slip vibrations. In one example, the method of operating a drill string includes: (1) performing a frequency domain analysis of an RPM signal associated with a top drive that is used to rotate a drill string, and (2) determining a presence of torsional oscillations of the drill string based on the frequency domain analysis of the RPM signal.

摘要: A closed-loop drilling fluid condition system for drilling fluid mixing and recycling process is described. The closed-loop drilling fluid condition system improves drilling fluid quality, repeatability, utilization efficiency, and health, safety and environment (HSE) issues. In particular, the closed-loop drilling fluid condition system automates a water-based drilling fluid workflow or an oil-based drilling fluid workflow where individual stages are monitored and adjusted in real-time. Specifically, the individual stages are monitored in real-time using sensors and adjusted in real-time based on commands from a monitoring device to achieve specific drilling fluid parameters.
